(I know there are other threads with the same TITLE but this is different. I decided to make this post to give some MINECRAFT religions I made up.)
Notchism
God:Notch.
These people believe that a being by the name of "Notch" is a god and created everything in minecraft. Some also think that Notch rewards those who are this religion by giveing them better luck in finding minerals such as diamond,iron, and lapris. Notchists cant grief,loot(Enless its in the rules), or flame.
Ok to do:Mainly anything.
Not ok to do:Grief,steal/loot,pirate, or flame.
Minethiests.
God:None.
These people believe in no god. They believe in the "Multi-World Theory" and "Programming Theory"
Multi-World Theory = Different worlds are created at very frequency and random rates. No two worlds are the same, there is no known why to cross from one to another.
Programming Theory = Worlds are created and maintained by a complex system of data and coding. This system determines what exist and it's properties and behaviors in MineCraft.
Ok to do:Everything.
Not ok to do:Depends.
Minetoginists.
God:Doesnt Know.
These people either dont know what to believe or dont exactly think they should care about a religion. They do have principles and they do keep an open mind tho. They can get along with either religion ok.
Ok to do:Mostly everything.
Not ok to do:Grief,steal/loot,pirate, and flame.

God: Swinia
Description: These nice people believe that the Minecraftian race evolved from the pig. They wear pig-shaped suits, but some even go as far as using magic to turn themselves into pig-men. However, most of the pig-men were killed shortly after and buried with the golden swords they were killed with. They don't kill pigs or creepers, because the creeper is what the pig originally was. They only eat bread, cake, fish, and apples.
Ok to do: A lot of stuff.
Not ok to do: Kill pigs and creepers, eat pork, be rude.
Name: Netherians
God: Death
Description: The Netherians live in hell (otherwise known as the Nether). They travel to the Overworld to kidnap the Pigmen and sacrifice them to Death. The unlucky Pigmen survive and turn into Zombie-Pigmen. The Netherians hope that one day Death will rise and kill all living things in the Overworld. That way they can live in both the Overworld and the Hell.
OK to do: Sacrifice Pigmen and kill all living things on site.
Not OK to do: Live in Overworld, make friends with a Pigman, or kill your brethren.
The Creephos Cult
Creephos - the white giant creeper in the sky (the moon)
Description: They believe that during night time the moon sends creepers to the world, changing not only the lives of the people but the whole world itself. This cult believes that the world was made by creepers exploding one by one over eons and that none shall stand in their path. If a creeper explodes - it's destiny and was meant to be like that.
Ok to do: Sacrifice yourself or others to a creeper explosion and worship Creephos.
Not ok to do: Avoid creepers once they have chosen you. It is your fate, it is your destiny and only with your and the creeper's blood combined the world's face can be changed once again.
The Followers of Amaunator-Ra
Avatar: The Sun
Description: Followers of Amaunator-Ra revere the sun for its many gifts to man - the light it provides, the crops and trees it grows, and that its light burns the undead, causes spiders to cower, and banishes creepers back into the underworld. As the sun moves straight and unswervingly in a massive arc in the sky, they take it Amaunator-Ra is a god of order and design, and as such express their devotion by keeping law and making buildings that are pleasing to the eye. They offer as sacrifice the sulphur dropped by their hated enemies, creepers.
Ok to do: Build cities, keep the peace, engage in trade, kill creepers.
Not ok to do: Grief, especially with TNT or creeper trains, incite disorder, break agreements, build nerdpoles and skybridges
Name: The Order of Servos
God: Servos the Benevolent
Description: These people believe that a being called the "Server Admin" supervises the World in which they live. They create altars out of Gold, Diamond, and Wood in the hope that he will be pleased and gift them with those very same materials.
Ok to do: Make sacrifices of any animal or material. Build altars and structures to celebrate the glory of Servos.
Not ok to do: Grief a server. Destroy other people's buildings. Purposefully anger other players.
Slimions.
God- The "Green one"
Description= These people worship the slimes, they are fanatical and will often jump into pits, hoping there slime brethren will catch them, they hope one day that the "Green one" will come down and take the minecraftians to a higher place, they also believe before this time they (If they die) they will be reincarnated into a specific animal based on their actions, such as becoming a chicken means you have sinned, if you are reincarnated into a slime, it is the highest honor, and you have nearly become a deity.
OK to do: Sacrifice yourself for the "Green one", to kill all living beings EXCEPT for slimes.
Not OK to do: Hurt any slimes, if you do these you should repent, kill yourself.
Followers of Cow.
God:Cow.
They follow the Cow, hoping that someday in the future they will decend beneath the lava (were they belive cows came from) to the lands of prosperity and diamonds. They make regular sacrafices of pig,sheep and chicken.
Cult of Herobrine
God:Some think of herobrine as god, but not all.
They believe in herobrine. Thinking he is the dead brother of Notch coded into the game.

I get the feeling this thread was started less to discuss religion within the world of Minecraft as "subtly" jab atheists, which is a bit petty, but I'll try to contribute anyway.
As Minecraft is a sandbox game, I don't see it as having an established mythos. Much like the first ancient humans, it's up to the player to come up with their own gods and lore to explain why things happen in the world. Notch and Herobrine have already been floated as mythic figures, but I'm personally partial to the idea of a sun god. Most ancient societies worshipped the sun for one reason or another, and in Minecraft, Steves have even more reason to: the sun burns up the undead, it cows the spider, and it stops creepers multiplying out of control. The sun is your air support.
I would name such an entity Amaunator-Ra, after my two favorite sun deities.
