Hey guys, I've recently been interested in buying a brand new desktop computer, mainly for playing minecraft, with a price 400$ or below. I know, that isn't really great of a budget but it will have to do. If it doesn't can someone please offer some further advise because I'm thinking about buying it soon. Thanks in advance.

You won't be able to squeeze out that much out of it because it has an integrated graphics card. Well, not on Windows.

well i noticed that too and wasn't really able to find anything that is ATI. Also my budget is actually 500$ could anyone please lead me to a desktop that would be handy?

There not good if you can mabe find a dell or something. But trust me just dont buy any emachines computer unless your looking to spend alot of money to fix things and upgrade stuff(because there terrible)

I can't really give you specific computers but tbh bestbuy overprices things. Check around walmart or Frys(if you have one in your area) or mabe a computer store you know if you want to get better-cheaper

alright, and yes i know bestbuy isn't the best. I actually have a walmart right next door to the good old bestbuy so i just use them to compare prices. Well, that is middle-ish. Very good for the price though!

would it be able to run off of normal render and fast graphics? I just cannot stand immense lag or tiny render. I just need about 20~30fps.

i

I don't know. I never had a dedicated graphics card, currently using Intel 4500M, lagspikes occur and average FPS on normal is 10 FPS.

well that seems pretty useful, i was looking at the Intel graphic card models and i don't mind lag spikes just want an average of 15~20 and max of like 22 or 25. Just so i can play almost flawlessly.

It won't allow you to play smoothly.

the intel? or the walmart one.

Acer is also worrying me, it doesn't say how much vRAM there is...

would 2GB or RAM be acceptable?

Well, 3 GB is enough. 2 GB isn't enough for running modern applications nowadays...

well i found out that this would be the best deal/price http://www.walmart.com/ip/Acer-AX3400G-U4802/15686808. 4GB of RAM with a AMD Athlon II X2 Dual-Core 255 Processor and a NVIDIA GeForce 9200 graphics card.

well my desktop is a 1993 model so, i dont think that will be ideal. Im just wondering would that be able to run on normal render and fast graphics?
