I've always heard it to be either 'between child and teen' or 'between teen and adult', though the correct expression is indeed the stage between pre-teen (childhood) and teenager. 11-13 is about it, though it varies a few years either way.
And moosa17, I sure hope I'll be playing video games until my fingers don't let me anymore. I want to be able to scream "I've been pwning n00bs for 50 years, you hear me, little brat?!" over a microphone one day.

I think the poll is more of a "how old are minecraft forum users"
I'm guessing that most of the younger minecrafters don't come on here and most older people don't, well, play pc games.

12. Although I am definitely smart enough to survive in the outside world by myself, I lack the money to do so. So here I am, stuck living with my parents at age 12.
I'm going to lay down a warning of fustration against people who go "I'm so-and-so old but mature and responsible".
I've been through that, and trust me, you can't. If you can't earn the money, you can't survive. Trust me, don't get all high and mighty, because it ends badly, and I get fustrated.
Learn a little humility. If you're truly mature and capable, nothing needs to be said.
And no, for reference, I'm not mature or responsible enough to survive by myself, I'm a lazy slacker. I do admit that.
