you basically get it done with in a few seconds? I'm just wondering how much this actually handicap's your play (I don't mean that in a negative sense, in the sense of choosing to go running with a heavy backpack for example).
Yep. And none taken. And no, it's not ignorance, I didn't go into detail in my answer. And I'm trying more to make it a task to remember the prayer, not to do it. A better analogy than a heavy backpack would be to have a button you have to press every three minutes.

I think it's ok to kill and eat pigs in a computer game. Just like how most people believe it's wrong to kill, but play war video games. But if it still bugs you, you might be able to download a texture pack to make it look like a different animal.

Not all Muslims are suicide bombers. If they were, there wouldn't be any Muslims left :/
I fixed the dome (I think...) and also added a cool 3x3 tower! It has a ladder through the center, so you can climb up to the slabs and stand there and look cool. Here's some pics.
[EDIT]
Eh I just realized that you can't see the dome very clearly... If you want better pics of the dome ask and I'll put some.

You should take another pic from that outpost, you you can see the whole thing
Will do!

We dont need something as idiotic as "Allah" in this game.
Whoever came up with "Allah" is a ****ing moron.
Er...Allah is God, from what I understand. So, your logic would mean all the humanity and human history who have created 'God' are morons...
That aside, go for it Solomon~! This is a very interesting topic. I don't have much to say but just to observe.
By the way, why is your username 'Solomon'? Isn't that part of Christianity (Protestant, Catholic, etc...) and not Islamic?

No, although the Christians and etc. viewed him as a king/saint/sorcerer or whatever, we also see him as a prophet. In fact, he is even one of the few (40-odd) prophets mentioned by name in the Quran. (we have a lot of prophets, including Noah, Abraham, Moses, etc., not just Mohammed. He was just the last. In fact, even Jesus is a Muslim prophet. We don't believe they each gave different messages, we just believe the messages were warped each times, but that because the Quran was written word for word from God, and didn't just travel by word of mouth, it is unaltered.) He was known to have miracles such as being able to communicate with animals, control the Jinn (spirits), and control the wind. For a more detailed account you can use GOOGLE! or just follow this link to the all-knowing wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_view_of_Solomon
However it can be noted that my [middle] name is not spelled the way it usually is for the prophets name (Solomon or Sulaiman, the latter being my favorite) but apparently my mom doesn't annunciate well while she's giving birth.
Cheers!

Quran? I dont remember something like that... Oh wait! I remember,i ripped the Quran to pieces and burned the pieces!
Soloman212, well, if you look back upon human history with an unbiased eye, it kinda reads like a Douglas Adams novel. Just my opinion on the matter.
Deividas56, there is no need to be so vile towards another person, especially in an antagonizing manner that is most certainly a "troll", so, as my 8 year old brother says. "Go die in a hole".

There is no god,Want proof?
Ok here we go : Allah is a f*cking sh*it.
Nothing will happen after i say that.
The argument is not whether God exists or not but the school of thought behind religion. Religion was created in absence of Science where humans could not comprehend the world around them. Science has undeniable roots from Religion and one can not exist without the other.
Also, the fact that Bible AND the Quran quotes same people and same events also gives some evidence that, at the very least, there is some sort of supernatural in the past.
Personally, I'm still cynical and prefer to stay in the middleground. That does not mean one should accuse of another of their beliefs because of the differences between them. Just as prejudices that exists within Islamic groups.
In any case, post reported
@Solomon
Thank you for that information. I'm quite interested in Religion especially Islamic seeing how they are overly and unfortunately misrepresented. I'll be keeping more better eye in this topic :biggrin.gif: Keep sharing your work. It's fascinating.

You thought of everything, have ya, dude? And I commend you for it to boot. :smile.gif:
When I think about food as you have mentioned, it makes me feel that I have been eating too much pork myself, as wheat to make bread is not exactly a very common resource in the world of Minecraft. If there was a mod that can make cows and chickens drop their limbs when killed to be cooked in a furnace, that would be awesome. Obviously they are Halal. XD
Regarding the Kaaba (forgive me if I might say something sacrilegious) but I could suggest creating one out of Obsidian. Then again, the results would be a purple Kaaba instead of a black one, but there has to be some form of addon that can change this sort of color to black..
Btw, I like the mosque ya made. Nice work, man. :smile.gif:
Interesting way to play - not much different than Survival or Hardcore Minecraft twists.
Unfortunately...
The Babel fish is small, yellow and leech-like, and probably the oddest thing in the Universe. It feeds on brainwave energy received not from its own carrier but from those around it. It absorbs all unconscious mental frequencies from this brainwave energy to nourish itself with. It then excretes into the mind of its carrier a telepathic matrix formed by combining the conscious thought frequencies with nerve signals picked up from the speech centers of the brain which has supplied them. The practical upshot of all this is that if you stick a Babel fish in your ear you can instantly understand anything in any form of language. The speech patterns you actually hear decode the brainwave matrix which has been fed into your mind by your Babel fish.
Now it is such a bizarrely improbable coincidence that anything so mindbogglingly useful could have evolved purely by chance that some thinkers have chosen to see it as the final and clinching proof of the non-existence of God. The argument goes something like this:
'I refuse to prove that I exist,' says God, `for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing.'
`But,' says Man, `The Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED.'
`Oh dear,' says God, `I hadn't thought of that,' and promptly vanished in a puff of logic.'
`Oh, that was easy,' says Man, and for an encore goes on to prove that black is white and gets himself killed on the next zebra crossing.'
Most leading theologians claim that this argument is a load of dingo's kidneys, but that didn't stop Oolon Colluphid making a small fortune when he used it as the central theme of his bestselling book, Well That About Wraps It Up For God.
Meanwhile, the poor Babel fish, by effectively removing all barriers to communication between different races and cultures, has caused more and bloodier wars than anything else in the history of creation.
Christian here, OP I like the fact you don't rise to the "comments" against you.
It's an interesting gameplay, I might make a old timey monastery on one of my mountains (clouds would travel through the walls just below the ceiling, make a cool effect)
Course, from a Minecraft perspective there are much less obligations on me.
Would anyone mind giving me some ideas on how to go about this? Going to church once a week has become a tradition, it's not an actual requirement to attend on a regular basis.
I'm posting here because I think this thread is a "I'm putting some of the requirements of XXXXX into Minecraft" kinda thing. So this would fit here.
Also, OP keep this thread updated, I lol when I see people rail on about Islam.
