But why did you use gold/glowstone for the dome instead of Lapis lazu, which is what most mosque domes are made of?
The mosque I made was a much smaller scale. It was just two rooms, the prayer room and an upstairs balcony for women, and was about 20x15x15. So this is much bigger...

However, if you do wish to do it five times each day, I would set up a dome in your house with 5 holes in it, with each one facing the sun at the appropriate time of prayer. This way, if you stand right in the middle, you could time your prayer exactly on the dot rather than have to estimate with the low quality watch.

Looks pretty good, with the exception of the corners, you're going to want to dress those with pillars of some sort. Though normally the aforementioned pillars are the foundation for minarets. Also, overall it would look better if you flattened the general structure. Though perhaps it's just my perception that it looks a bit much like a crowded city mosque (minimal footprint). Most mosques I've seen photos of tend to be far wider than tall.

I don't know alot about Islam, but being a lover of minecraft architecture, you could make a very cool mosque (nearby whatever shelter you have built) facing your spawn point for prayers while not traveling.

Ok, I was just wondering whether letting them spawn in your house could be considered farming them. I guess that if you're not having other players pay to come in and take them, then you're not. (Though that's a moot point since you're in singleplayer.)

I never bothered asking that because I've never exactly been stuck with a bunch of bacon before or anything.
2. I can't give it to other people, nor sell it. It's the equivalent of supplying them with alcohol: If I think it's wrong for people to do it, then I can't give people the opportunity to do it.
