This thread is just for sharing your notable Minecraft experiences, be it killing your first creeper, getting invaded by chickens, getting caught outside in the night and surviving, stuff like that.

Well, I was returning to my house after an unsuccessful search for Iron. Rainforest-Mountain places seem to have a ton of coal, but no Iron whatsoever. A pig had wandered up and was poking around my house. In fact, I first saw him with his face against the door. So I punched him out of the way and went inside. While I was setting up my bed, I turned away and paused the game for a second to post on the forum. I turn back to my bed, and there's a huge pink right in front of me ON MY BED IN MY HOUSE.
Pig: *blank stalker stare*
Me: 0_0 GTFO GTFO GTFO *punches him out the window*
Anyone else have a story?
Edit: I was playing again, and all of a sudden I hear what sounds like a fireball or explosion. I swear my heart skipped a few beats. I pause the game and try to figure out what it was. Then I remember there's video in the background. I played the video. Guess what? The video had made the sound. Egg on my face.
Aaaaand the pig is back in my house-_- Hm, should I let him stay, or have porkchops for dinner?
oh wait, I didn't play it today. I uninstalled it until notch gets all the migration stuff sorted out.
SOMEHOW his SERVER PROBLEMS managed to BREAK MY WORLDS.
twice.
although the last time I played I had an epic battle with a spider on top of a tower...we kept throwing each other off of it...it would've made a great video. it was pretty fun.
Today I was working on expanding my ever growing castle/farm when I go to explode cave system recently discovered. I get so far I have no possible way of finding my way out. I finally find a single diamond after fighting back hordes of zombies and creepers in my quest to find way out. Lava pit falls and water that pushes me towards the lava is all around me. I dig diamond out but then accidentally dig under myself and fall into boiling lava. I have decided I will stick to using bucket mold portal making. Now if only I could find a affective way to bring up lava to surface.
Well earlier I made a new world and I loved it. It was a forest biome with trees everywhere. Then in my moment of stupidty I decided to mess around with lava and then this happened...
then extremely intense lag as all of my world caught fire and I heard the animals all dying around me. When I can finally move I see my world engulfed in flames as far as I can see. Worst minecraft day ever!
Today on Minecraft I turned the difficulty off peaceful for the first time to see how my laptop would take it. I've been playing on Peaceful because my Acer is terrible with Minecraft, I've always wanted to play with the mobs on because it's a funner experience. That, and I get scared really easily, I've been in the same room as my friend as she's been playing and nearly had a panic attack when I heard an arrow for the first time, I actually ducked thinking someone had shot at me ^^'
So, first everything was quiet, I thought my laptop had turned it back to peaceful. I check, see it's on easy so I guess it's because it's the daytime. It starts to get dark and I chill in my house for the night to make swords. Then I heard my first zombie. Excitedly, I grabbed my swords and ran outside to slay it.
I opened my door without thinking, a creeper ran in and blew my house up. Then I was shot by a skeleton but I managed to kill it, I turn around and I hear the noise no one ever wants to hear when they're backed into a corner.
sssssssssssssss.....
Let's just say I won't be turning it off Peaceful again for a while ^^' I'll finish my underground tunnels first.
So far I've added a new room to my underground base and have started organizing my cluttered up belongings into sorted chests. Also made an indoor fishing pool.
Today on Minecraft I finally removed 2 side by side doors that have been bugging me for the past month or more inside of my house that lead into a hallway that leads to my nether portal room.
I also spent a couple more hours getting my world ready for creating my let's play, as everytime that I turn around in the game I see some other imperfection that I know will bug me once the recording starts and I'll have to fix it, so I'm spending the time now to fix it all before the video starts recording.
Today on Minecraft I finished my 50x50x2 mob farm. I went down to the collection point and confirmed that the streams from the canals and funnel were working properly, as several cobblestones I had put up as temporary bridges and some of the torches I had removed when plunging it into darkness were there.
But no string, bones, arrows, feathers, or gunpowder. Either the grinder (a 3x2x1 tunnel with lava source blocks at the end and ladders just below it) is not working, or so few mobs are spawning in it that nothing is coming out, or maybe drops are being incinerated.
Today on Minecraft I traveled for 10 minutes each in every direction possible from my spawn point looking for a desert biome, only to discover that outside the small plains biome I'm currently in, is nothing but snow. For at least ten minutes in every direction. 20 minutes in some. I found absolutely no other biomes, and am thoroughly upset lol.

I envy you. I can't even get Mocreatures to work right. I think I got it this time, but so far nothing.
Oh, and I forgot to post this yesterday: I was exploring (looking for Iron again) and I see a cave. Odd thing about this cave is that the entrance roof is sand. Gravity-defying sand. Out of curiosity, I mine one piece, expecting just the sand above it to come down. The entire freaking roof comes down, thankfully not on me.
Me: Uh...I didn't do that!! goes back to boat*
Found out my beacon (Big tall crag of rock with torches on the top) was a popular suicide point for animals. I walk out one morning to see a pig falling off the cliff. No pork, sadly.

good job, mods, good job
I then went on easy and waited 10 minutes during the night, waiting for a mob to fall in
only 2 chickens fell in and flapped for their lives. I was so mad I burnt them with lava...
then extremely intense lag as all of my world caught fire and I heard the animals all dying around me. When I can finally move I see my world engulfed in flames as far as I can see. Worst minecraft day ever!

At least the concept seems to work.

When I tried it again 3 days ago it worked no problem, and no crashes so far.
