So, in my first base, I had a portal to the Nether. Later in the game, I sailed off from that first base and found a new place for a home. After awhile, I built another portal. I went in, and it teleported me to a new place in the Nether., but when I tried to go back through the portal, it lead me back to my older base. Can any one explain why it does this? Thanks!
This has always happened to me with portals which is why I have just given up Nether doorway for use as portals completely.
One time I even got teleported to a random spot on my overworld map that was SO far from my house I had to cartograph my world to find how to get back cause going back in and out the portal just kept putting me back there.
Here is said map:
Nevermind, it gets cut off apparently, but it jets off to the right for days.
Save it and look at it and you will.. Not that anyone really cares that much..
I don't really get the wall idea, so what I did is i destroyed my first portal (i looked for my portal A in the nether but never found it) and went to my new base. I went through the portal there, and it led me to the place it always does. When I went back through to get out of the nether, it led me into a cave, the was only about 50 blocks away from my first base. Ugh.
