My son underwent some major cardiac surgery back in July and I'll be raising money for the hospital where he got his work done (Children's Hospital of Boston).
I'd figure I'd play Minecraft for 24 hours (starting with a fresh world on hard) and then post a youtube video of the creation if I met my donation goal. I'd appreciate any donations. Its a good cause and since I'm spending nights playing this game anyways, figure it would be a fun way to make some money for the hospital.

Thank you, jfishjosh. And awesome bump to $666. Anything helps! I think its going to be completely awesome to say I was able to raise a grand for my hospital by just playing this game.
I'm hoping it will be a live stream for the entire event of you playing the game with a mic, since I find doing that usually encourages people to take part and watch how you progress and donate.
Archrones, progress will be broadcasted live on MinecraftRadio.com on the 16th. Its exclusive to us so make sure you're signed up and there is no problems.
Also i had the pleasure of doing a interview with Archdrone about the even, he's a great guy and the interview shows there is no guy better for the job of 24 Hours of Minecraft.
It didn't turn out as epic as I hoped but figuring out how to build in the middle of the sea was fun. If you are going to attempt it. Bring lots of sand and doors. You'll figure out why.
I'm taking part in a 24 hour gaming charity called Exra Life:

If i had the money i would donate but sadly i don't :sad.gif:
However only about $10 has come from the minecraft community (thanks jfishjosh!). I'm blessed to have very supportive friends and family.
I've got one week to come up with just $184, I'm not really great at this begging for money bit. But anything helps.
I am glad you are raising money but I am sad the minecraft community isn't a part of it.
