This isn't a support thread in which I'm looking for a resolution, I have the sense to post that in the proper location and have done so.
Imagine a scenario where there is a memory leak afflicting a range of "hardware", there is no driver fix and there is no software to be updated, and that people have tried entire re-installs, or bought multiple "hardware" to try and fix it, only to find they jumped from one afflicted "hardware" to another afflicted "hardware" brand.
In this case, I think relying on users helping users will NOT bare fruit, it would require a fix of the memory leak, or a work around made, for those afflicted. This means the fix has to come from notch or his future hires.
I see the blog, twitter and to-do list going full steam ahead for new features and making existing ones, such as redstone, work. I do not see any proper way to troubleshoot memory leak issues, ways to send in microsoft network monitor reports, or really do anything to work with majong specifications to find resolution.
I was hoping they'd fix existing show stoppers before adding more changes to the netcode.
The major cuplrets I'm talking about right now would be the service pack 3 errors for windows xp, and the faulty connection issues that are coming up with 3 major brands. There are about topics in the survival multiplayer support section where no one has any idea how to precede with fixing the issues, outside of buying confirmed "Working" NICs.
( I think everything I just said was inside the rules, and I apologize if it's not. I'm not trying to be inciting anger, and I do understand that notch is busy, all I'm asking is that players left out in the cold do show up on the official to-do list at some point? )
