Not really, since this is meant to be used in Multiplayer servers obviously. How are you going to get all of that TNT fast enough for it to be fun unless you use a team of people?
Also it's meant mostly for RP servers, as a kind of nice thing to watch while not at war. :tongue.gif:
i couldn't think of any thing but this video
the best part, if you have a miss fire, is that instead of flaming chemicals flying at you
you have lit tnt
also i hope that i don't have anything built on a server that gives people this much tnt

Lol yeah, but it's more for when mobs are implemented, and when you have spare tnt.
Better to use as fireworks than to blow the whole damn map to pieces. :biggrin.gif:

Except that TNT is client-side only, and that no one but the person who activated it will see the explosion.

That's a reasonable argument, except for the fact that smp doesn't have creepers yet.
How do you set them off? Just hit the bottom one and run?

Except that by the time mobs are added, I doubt notch would leave TNT client side. HURR DURR DURR.

Yeah, or you can either make a redstone fuse, or you can make a TNT fuse by placing them a few blocks apart.
And yeah, this is expensive, but as I said, it's mainly for fun when a faction/kingdom/country has tons of TNT created and nothing to spend it on, since the cheapest one will cost at least 9 tnt (this is replacing the long tnt part with red dust to make it cheaper).
But they would be best if you made a giant circuit of red dust fuses and timed them to go off a few seconds after the explosion. It would look really nice. :tongue.gif:
I've been trying alternating patterns as well, the nicest one is a 3x4 hollow one with holes in the sides, since it's very cheap (as long as you don't use a bigger fuse) but doesn't really take away from the effect. :tongue.gif:
The only problem I've had with larger ones is setting it off so that it doesn't lean to one side, so maybe a 5x4 would work out better.

I'll post pictures and maybe a video later, but I have to go somewhere soon. They look pretty nice. :3
EDIT: make the long tnt part thick if you make it very tall, but if it's only a dozen blocks high, it can stay one block thick.
Silly ianfitz.
