I noticed this via 'Deepdata' trying to bring this to Notch's attention on Twitter.
Out of all the statistics, I think the most surprising is New Zealand's rank (at least via google searches). The burst of 'publicity' is clearly visible.
I am disappointed in my fellow Americans. We must spread the good word. Personally I plan on getting everyone I can from my private school on board in the fall.
I showed it to some of my friends (I live in USA) and they weren't impressed. I guess most of the USA is only impressed by graphics instead of gameplay. They said it was just runescape in first person, then i raged.
EDIT: when I searched just Illinois (my state) it says there are no matching links, aka, not many people in IL play minecraft, I wouldn't be surprised if i were 1 of 10.

That's, my dear friend from a far away kingdom, because most of the USA is filled with gay 12 year old "elite" gamers, that play MW2 and BC2.
On a side, off-topic note: God i miss Cave Story D:

Hey now, I play both BC2 and MW2 and I adore Minecraft. Then again I'm not a 12 year old elite gamer either.
I'm pretty sure that these numbers are by percentage, not by the number of people.

I'm pretty sure this is the number of people, correct me if i'm wrong.
But still, Denmark has minecraft rage apparently! :biggrin.gif:

I honestly don't get.
Also, everything that's said here about Americans is absolutely a true stereotype. I think.

Then your definition is wrong and outdated.

Wait, your country doesn't have lazy people as well?
I personally have nothing against Americans, i'm just showing why people don't like the US.
Number 8, with most of those coming from Texas.
Clearly, Californians don't know about Minecraft yet.
*spreads the good word, door-to-door like a Moromon*
Also disappointed in my NY... :biggrin.gif:
