Will indev ever be released to the public?
I'd really like to buy the game, but right now I'm unable to do so (don't ask).
Indev just looks so awesome.

Kooooooooooooooooooooooooool.
Thanks, buddy.
Best news I've heard in a while.
Could be after like four years. Are you going to wait?
It depends if notch keeps working on minecraft after is full release
Which I hope he does, you can't stop adding stuff to a game like this.
He said he would wait like four years after finishing. Actually it could have been two, but whatever. If he ports it to game systems, you could get it that way.
I'd really love to see a stand-alone handheld Minecraft. Like the Tetris's and stuff in the toy section at Wal-Mart. Basically a minecraft dedicated machine.
I, frankly, have a problem with people wanting Minecraft for free even before it's out, but that's just an overreaching sense of justice. Chose not to eat fast food twice and you have enough money saved for the game....it's not like it's expensive.
Don't forget about expansions like Zombie Siege and Dungeons. They'll extend the "active life" during which Notch will be working on it.
Seriously, by the time Notch is "done" and four years have passed, it could be 2016. If the game is worth waiting that long for, wouldn't it be worth the $15 now?
Also, if you get an allowance you can save that money up instead of buying a bunch of things at once. If you don't get an allowance, save birthday and other holiday money. Since I don't get an allowance I save holiday money. From doing so after some years, I have 500-600 dollars saved up. I rarely spend money.

No big deal
Been here a while.

Less cool!
Much less cool!
Oh well...That's life.
I'll just stick to survival mode then.
When it goes into beta, it is going to be replaced with indev and the price will rise.
Would be soooo cash.

Raise my dragons please!!
The thread isn't about making (or discussing) a Public Domain Minecraft, it's about releasing indev to unpaid users.:/
