And here it is, Newscraft article Number Two! The first (exploring controversial design decisions in Minecraft) can be found here.
And if this isn't crazy enough for you people to realize it at a glance (and some of you... well... I wouldn't put it past you to interpret this as serious information):
THIS IS NOT REAL NEWS!
It is merely an attempt at Minecraftian humor.
(Unfortunately, I doubt I'll be adding visual elements to this one, since I don't want to edit screens of Infiniminer and Minecraft together.)
-------------------------------------
War Potential After Minecraft-Infiniminer Hostilities
The words "war is imminent," first issued by a high-ranking blue Infiniminer, seem to be on the minds of Infiniminers and Minecrafters alike. The recent growth in the number of Minecrafters allowed for both blue and red Infiniminers to converge in opposition against what both sides see as a "blatant attempt to steal Infiniminer followers for commercial gain." Initially, most Armycraft leaders believed that the strong division in the Infiniminer faction would result in a poor morale base and, by extension, a very unthreatening opponent, but recent developments on the other side have sharply diminished such claims. Shocking Infiniminer developments include a new trend of 'color-blind' tool manufacturers, and rumors are spreading that the uniform makers of both the blue and red sides will merge to begin a new line of purple-colored apparel.
Before about three months ago, the clashes were limited to small, isolated skirmishes over mine ownership disputes, but when news spread about the rising violence on the borders, public opinion on either side only helped to heat the tension between the two groups and localized wars were openly waged by close-proximity mining stations. Armycraft officials have issued numerous statements clarifying that any violent actions committed by Minecrafters was assuredly unauthorized by any entity within the Governcraft, although a number of Infiniminers were openly skeptical of such claims.
After border violence had reached mainstream news networks, Governcraft President Markus Persson, when asked what his reaction to an explicit war declaration would be, replied drily, "I would mock them for their flatness." Outrage ensued in Infiniminer ranks, and the number of Infinimarine enlisters increased dramatically as the faction prepared for offensive action. Highly vocal Infiniminer peace advocate Zach Barth has remained wholly silent on the issue of Infiniminer-Minecrafter violence.
Newscraft representatives report that informal street interviews were responded to with inflammatory remarks such as, "We just took the blocks and made them better. The Infiniminers need to get their heads out of their ---- and shut the ---- up." Still yet, a few were found to be in strong protest to Minecraft-Infiniminer violence, musing that "We all use blocks just the same. I think that the Governcraft and Infiniministry should really try to push for peace here. Infiniminers and Minecrafters aren't that different, and they're definitely not different enough to warrant such hostility."
Until the next update on Infiniminer-Minecraft hostilities, remember that Newscraft is your most reliable source for important information about Mineconomy and Governcraft happenings, so be sure to tune in later for the most up-to-date news around.
My family immigrated here from Infiniminer after hostilities started to grow. We thought we would be free from the war machine here, free to live peaceful lives. However, Minecraft has been looking more and more like the home country. TNT, griefing, mining for minerals, lava everywhere. I fear we may need to move yet again.
The Hai2joo clan immigrated to Minecraft in hopes of a better life; Hacking was so bad in Infiniminer that only one server was capable of defending itself from server crashing hacks. (I.E. Removing half the map in seconds). Minecraft Promised everything, streets of gold, secure servers, hacks that aren't out of control, and the icing on the cake of regular /indev/ updates.
I grouped up with a few of my fellow comrades who endured the choppy tube ride to Minecraft under the banner of the Nazi Regime, and for a while things were good. But then, Some of the fellow higher ups in Venn's regime started making their own servers; One was better than all the rest, Andrew had managed to sneak a copy of the then new archive software and published a server under the Multiworld banner, And things are still good.
"As a native Minecraftian, I am morally outraged that my own kind can conduct such in-huMINE activities as to violently attack those poor Infiniminer scumbags. Really, we should leave the ethnic cleansing to the pros at Armycraft. I'm suspicious that the those stealthy TIME Troopers are what set off this whole ordeal, it wouldn't sup-- huh, what? Hey! Get your hands of me! Wh-where are you taking me! Heeeeeeeeeelp!"
I am personally a native Minecraftian, hailing from the (ones) Lavalands. Being trusted by the government there and being a well respected citizen, I thought that I would try explore the strange foreign lands of Infiniminer, but I was sabotaged: My Internet booking was interrupted by constant Error's during the booking, making it impossible.
I hear that the Archives has secretly added a teleporter that is allowing instant transport to and from the Infiniminer servers. Whether this is in preparation for an invasion is yet to be seen.
Minecrafters are descendants of the Infiniminers. However, the Infiniminer population has seemed to drop dramatically. Their Landscape is all Dirt and Lava, and little food or shelter. They may have more Technology than us, But they all seem die by either falling off a cliff or burning in lava.
