So I was bored and I decided to write this story about Minecraft. It's a story based upon it's complete history of progressed summarized in the eyes of a sentient computer A.I. Enjoy.
The History of Minecraft.
=Introduction=
There existed nothingness in a field of voids and enigmas. A silence crept through the space of what seemed to be a Universe where nothing had occurred at all, where nothing existed. It was a giant black mass floating in a dimensional reality that was unbeknown to anyone. It seemed to be destined to stay this way, until one fateful moment where it seemed that the world began to start out. A giant character, green in appearance, formed and floated in the entire existence of nothing. Its light reflected through everything like glass in a dark abyss. It was a number, the number one. A zero then appeared, equaling in size and form throughout the place it had suddenly appeared to be. These characters, foreign to such a place, began to increase exponentially in which filled the Universe with such a green light, and everything turned green. After which, letters began to form in such odd shapes and forums, characters, arrangements. They shrunk as their amount increased, when colors began to form, distinct shapes and solid objects, and after the threads of reality seeped in, it created something beyond which man could never asses mentally that could be created. A universe was whole and born anew.
=The Beginning=
I woke up from what seemed to be an eternal slumber. It was almost this feeling that I was born, and I was seeing the world for the first time. I saw it, such odd styles and terrain. Everything was a block, in and of itself. There was glass, trees, leaves, planks, rocks, stone, almost emulating a natural habitat. I walked around and saw water formed in front of my eyes. I wondered about the physical limitations of this, and a hit gravel and sand. They merely broke into pieces, seeing as I could not feel anything, for I had no hands. I could not hear, taste, smell, or even blink. I never knew how I look like, what my face was, because there were no mirrors. It was not that I cared, but I enjoyed having a picture of myself in my mind to refer to. All I could ever see of myself was that I wore an aqua shirt and jeans, and had tan skin. That was all I knew, and all that I had to know to survive in this foreign place. I felt around myself and noticed that I had something. It was a plate, a round rectangular plate, made of glass. On it, it had what seemed to be an inventory. It seemed too advanced compared to the rest of my environment. It had all the elements that existed in my world: Sand, wood, gravel, plank, tree trunks, rock, stone, and soil. Water was not available, which was disappointing, since it could have made my life easier. I pressed on the soil block with my finger on the plate, and magically, I had a giant soil block in front of me. I continually pressed it to the point of no return, and it did not seem to end. Could I control all these elements here, shown to me on a convenient glass plate? How could this be, for I was only a mere mortal? The power and advantages here are incredible, as if I was almost a God. I went ahead and made a humble home out of planks and tree trunks, and lived in it.
Days passed, as I explored the land for what it had to offer. It sounded redundant and useless, since I already had everything available to me in my grasp, but there was honestly nothing better to do. I could not eat, I could not sleep. Eventually I was able to find flowers in my environment, and I tested them with shade. Evidently, they die under shadows, as does grass. I dug down into a pit which seemed endless, until a stumbled on something. I broke through rock, and I had found lava. I saw the lava in front of me, advancing slowly and out to get me. I ran like hell backwards, but it was no use. I was stuck in a corridor and the lava had me at a dead end. I took out my glass plate and there were new options on it, magically, as if implemented somehow. There was a glowing yellow R and a glowing green S. I pressed S, and it didn’t help me much. Then a I pressed R and all I got was a blip of reality breaking for a short moment. I knew it was my fate to die, and I closed my eyes. I felt the lava caressing me, but there was something amiss. It was something I couldn’t put my giant block mass of a hand on. Oh yes, now I know. I wasn’t dead. In fact, I moved around in the lava source, and it felt like just a liquid around me. It was an awkward feeling, I must admit, but it didn’t kill me. It didn’t drown me. It merely covered me. I traveled through the lava source and found what seemed to be a cave. I made stairs and dug out to the top, marked the area for testing, and continued back to my home. There were two things I began to notice when I made the trek back home; one was the fact that I was able to identify the names of my surrounding as if I knew them forever and a day. And how I knew it, I could never explain. It was as if it was already implanted in my mind, prepared inside me. The second was that my glass plate was beeping again, and it had on it a face. It was odd, as I wondered if that was my face I was looking at. I couldn’t tell, mostly because I never knew what my face looked like. It was so pixelly, and so blocky, with eyes of pure evil and mischief. Its smile was sarcastic, and its hair was flat as a board. I pressed it, and lo and behold, the inconceivable happened. It spawned out of what seemed to be out of nowhere, and stood in front of me with those same eyes and smile, my same clothes and my same pants, arms and all. Was that me? I couldn’t tell, but its resemblance was frightening. It stood momentarily, looking at me with a fixed view, and it ran off wildly off out of view. I stood frozen at what had just occurred, and decided to chase it down. I saw it running, and it fell into the water. I had noticed that even though it was in the water, it defied the laws of physics itself and ran around as if nothing existed there but air. I became worried, and feel in to capture it. Ultimately, I trapped him in a hole that I had planted, a trap to stop him. I closed it with a plank block. He could not build nor destroy; it stood moving in that hole underwater, without the ability to die or drown, and still stands there to this day.
Months came on, and I was able to find out what the R and S buttons do. They’re incredibly interesting as I’ve studied and useful for exploration across various places. The S allows me to set what I’ve decided to name a spawn point, and by doing so, I can always press R and appear in any location where I’ve placed my spawn point. Through the power of space of time, I can teleport to where I set myself previously in a matter of seconds. I’ve wondered how this is all possible, since this land only consists of primitive technology (manipulation of sand for closing doors) and such. There have been some new blocks that have been added into the glass plate by itself, how it was done I know not. There was the sponge block, which allowed me to absorb various amounts of water to the point where I can completely drain lakes in a matter of time. Then there was the glass block, which I can see right through (and sadly not see my reflection, as I yearn to do nowadays, being the only one on a stranded landmass). I used it to add windows into my home, and I like it. It looks nice and fits in with the rest of the potpourri. Then there was cloth, which consisted of the entire color spectrum. I had no use for these except for a carpet I laid out. I was able to extend my modest little home into a two-story home, which took me a couple of days to do so. Since I can’t sleep, I just lie there like a machine in my newly-made cloth bed and wait for tomorrow. As I woke up today, though, I noticed something different about the land I lived in. At the edge of the island, lied giant columns of white that had appeared, and a giant rectangle made of rock, hollow inside. I trekked through the land and approached it. It was long, and it had a small sign on it that said ‘ENTER’. I did not know what the meant, but since I was already losing my sanity at staying here and doing absolutely nothing, I decided to venture out. I went through what seemed to be a portal, and it leads me to such a bizarre and different land. The soil was much darker, and only consisted of soil. A keyboard appeared, with a sign that said ‘REGISTER’ on it. I realized then that I had no name, so I typed it out, and it read the following after I was done: “HELLO SUBTERFUGE. WELCOME TO MINECRAFT! WE HOPE YOU DO ENJOY YOUR STAY!” It scanned me and flew away from sight, almost vanishing. Then the most spectacular display of amazement happened right in front of me. Giant portal gates began to piece themselves together, made out of blocks themselves, and they formed what seemed to be portals to other lands different to my own. They had signs upon them, each stating what they were exactly. “RedShift’s Ocean Build! AlexVMiner’s City Build! Minecraft Server!” I looked around, thinking about which place to choose. I choose one at random, and when through it, hoping it would bring me comfort and happiness.
= Experience Grows =
I entered through the portal, and I saw a man. It looked like the clone I accidentally spawned back at my own home, but he was different. He had the same face, and the same clothes, but he was saner, and less artificial. And what amazed me most about this is the fact that this new land allowed me to do something I’ve never done before, and that was to speak. Throughout my whole existence, I believed that since I had no mouth, I could not speak at all. Apparently, communication does exist in other realms, which surprises me so much. It wasn’t so much that I had a voice per say, it was that whatever I was able to think came out into the light automatically, speaking with not my lack of mouth, but my mind. He told me, “Welcome to the Minecraft Server, Subterfuge.” I did not speak back to him, as what I saw captivated my imagination more. Buildings beyond the limits of what I could ever perceive, and monuments so huge that I could not believe they existed. I ran around the map looking at things, but I did notice one thing while I was running around. The man that greeted me was secretly following me. He hid when I stopped and turned around, but I was able to catch him at the corner of my eye. I decided to dig down to check out to see if there was lava, and somehow he teleported to me and appeared to me, and asked me very quickly, “What do you think you’re doing?” I responded, “I’m just looking for some lava.” He told me, “Don’t dig vertical lines into the map for no reason. It just leaves marks all around the map and is considered griefing.” In my mind, I questioned this, but I did as he said, and I buried the hole. I proceeded to ask him, “What is wrong with exploring maps underground, and who are you to tell me so?” He didn’t like that question much, and responded, “Hold your tongue! I am the one who watches over this map! I have absolutely no problem with you exploring this map, but when you start to damage it, it becomes my concern to watch you and prevent it from happening.” I was humble, and responded with, “Oh. I’m sorry. I’m just new at this whole ‘Multiplayer’ dimension that I didn’t realize it.” The man looked at me, with a straight face, and inquired, “You must be new at this. Here, I’ll give you a tour of the place.” And we both walked by.

Wow, this is remarkably in-depth and amazing. Keep writing.
I'm intrigued about how you're progressing through the timeline, like you're going through Notch's blog end to end.
Just a tip: Don't start giving too many specific player cameos or people will start asking for them.

Great story, can't wait for it to continue.
But why is S set spawnpoint? It's enter - it always has been.
Raise my dragons please!!
And people wearing custom skins of course. Not to forget the survival and indev mode.
