I was just wondering how I could go about playing minecraft singleplayer offline. I don't normally have internet on my computer and I'd like to be able to play minecraft a lot more than I can now.
Sorry if I was unclear, that's not what I mean.
I wanted to know if there was some way to, like, save the game and play it (single player of course) when I don't have access to the internet
Yep. WoM works pretty well... But lacking the ability to load maps :sad.gif: You can save how ever by dumping the map data to load it into omen or the game when connected and logged in. Its fairly limited really, you should be able to save locally but would totally ruin registering the game...

Download the jar and run it manually with a batch file.

Press any key to continue . . .
Hit windows key + r and type: %temp%\www.minecraft.net\creepertest
Substitute the mincraft.jar in the directory for the that witch you normally download for the WoM client.
When you open your WoM client hit cancel and it should put you into a normal single player game.
In any case of my err,

Actually, you can. You can even use the same client to connect to a multiplayer game in survival mode.
Only problem being that digging open handed in a multiplayer game will cause the server to disconnect you.
I just switch to TNT before beginning to dig.
As far as I know, (meaning I haven't tested this) the monsters are rendered client-side, so your friends can't help you kill them. Though someone in normal mode can place things for you to pick up.
Also, TNT doesn't blow up as expected, though it does provide blocks.
I have tested this numerous times. And I know in fact that indeed it works within the client. :tongue.gif:

I was confused by the title, too. [/sarcasm]

Google it.
He's right, if you have a external client that works too.

You have to tell java what class to load. Check the html of the play page.
