I've decided to start from scratch. Focusing on making it more dynamic, the last layout was pretty static. The basic layout will remain though. Just a heads up, it's a bit shinier. :tongue.gif: Just a bit.
In my opinion, it'll look better than the last one did. But of course, that's just my opinion. If you want any fancy JScript animation. I can do that, I guess.

If you put those mouse trails in, I might not respect you anymore... :wink.gif:
Keep it simple and nice, too many visual distractions, well, distract from the content.
After a LONG session redesigning the code. I've come up with something simpler to edit, all buttons run off one style (nav-btns) it makes use of text-shadow for those browsers that support CSS3 (or text-shadowing) to create a similar effect the text had before.
Edit: Small edit, but I fixed a slight bug in the CSS whereby the text would be pushed down below the nav bar if it contained a space or was "too long". Now button names can be up to, but not exceeding, the nav bar width.

Mods are the tile-set etc reskins. Not like recoding thing and stuff, but that might be acceptable too. Depends. Besides, this operates outside the chain of command.
My new layout seems more consistant for cross-compatability with other browsers. There are display issues with IE7 and FF2.0. I'm aware they're "out-dated" but for the sake of consistency I'm going to at least try to make them work. I won't put undue effort into it though.
Edit: Noticed a slight bug with off-sets in Chrome. I'll stick some special CSS fixes for each different browser, whoever is editing it can import a JS script to use native CSS sheets for each browser.
Well it's their own fault for turning JavaScript off not mine. If they want to view a broken page, that's their problem. Most sites require JavaScript to be turned on nowadays anyway, having it off seriously limits the amount of websites you can visit.

I was thinking of putting map gens, server software and the such in this section.

The amount of people running browsers w/out javascript is a **** in the ocean, so while catering to them is good practice, it's a complete waste of time for a site like this. The reason big sites do it is because they're required by law, they have to allow screen readers to be able to interpret all content available (and therefore not exclude those who rely on a screen reader) and most don't work well with javascript.
This website is for a game that requires Java. People running Java without running Javascript really doesn't happen. Even if they are completely unrelated.

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!
If someone feels like giving me a design I can beautify it and turn it into a web page. But so far I'm out on a whim here.

TIMES NEW ROMAN
Do not want.
Seriously, put a better font on it.

I'd say they deserve a Tools section.
