Do you know how hard it is to catch a speed hacker?

They're preventable and, if anything, should only be allowed to server admins. ... However, a large number of possible options hacking opens have no positive, useful purpose. The most "good" you can do is fly around quickly and automatically building pixel art, and that's still 'cheating' in a way since it takes as much effort as importing an image in Omen.

I'm not bothered by them atm unless they're used to grief.

I am very much against the flying and speedhacks and pretty much any hack in general, if they are used in Survival once it's out, since they will be cheating. If I'm OP at the time, I'll probably warn, then ban anyone I see using either.

I don't like them on either side of the coin. On the one hand, griefers can use hacks to cause much more damage than usual and even escape higher security prisons - and that's just the hacks that are out now.

On the other hand, players and administrators that use them to build are taking a much easier route than everyone else (which lessens the impressiveness of the work, anyway).

i think they're pretty cool, but like everyone else, only if they're used right.

i want them, i need them. and it would be simple to make an admin client with options and a menu THAT ONLY LETS you connect to localhost servers so it wouldn't be abusable

This is only due to poor anti-cheat in the server software. It's entirely possible to make admin prisons inescapable. I know of at least 4 ways (all hacks) to escape admin prisons, all of which are counterable with proper anti-cheat.

It's still a point of principal to me. I would say that's just me, but the poll indicates otherwise.

I voted dislike. Hacks aren't a huge deal in sandbox mode, but they would of course ruin the game in any of the coming game modes.

Totally agree with you mate, especially on the construction front.

They are pretty good i use them but i use them for OP and for traveling the hacks are good if your not griefing and spamming
