Meh, you just have to learn to put up with it. If you buy the game and play on paid only servers (which is when Lua becomes intergrated) or play on private servers, then you shouldn't have as much of a problem. But yeah, most people just accept it now.
Some guy came to my place.
He acted normal at first building something okay.
But then he sais he was going to build a swastika.
I said okay, but don't be offended if it's covered/deleted.
He makes it, whatever.
About 15 minutes later I leave to go do something IRL.
I come back and everything is greifed!
So yeah, it's greifers that do that kind of stuff.
It's neither the hindu symbol or the Nazi symbol. It's known as a swastika, and the only reason the Nazi's use it, is because it symbolizes power. The Hindu one, is the right way, the Nazi one is horizontally flipped.
So don't refer to them as Nazi symbols, because many people in the Middle East are very offended with this comparing us to Nazis. Swastikas please.
You guys realize minecraft is a blocky game and making a swastika thats slightly tilted looks ugly. The only way to achieve and effective looking tilt is by making something large and griefers rarely have the patience for making such a large thing.
What I'm saying is, we all know what their trying to convey, if I say "fcuk you" you know what I mean, you can make a joke and go all grammar nazi on me, but the meaning is still there. They put it there to show nazi symbolism, and you guys oviously know thats what their doing, so its irrelevent if its correct or not, the meaning and recognition of that meaning is there.
My two cents: Who cares? If you can fix it, you shouldn't care too much. A little spare time to reverse or rid of it won't hurt any. Unless you're really busy, but i don't find griefing/racism too high in my pest's, as for anything can be fixed if you put the right power into it.

When I joined Minecraft, swastikas were funny for about two seconds, but it's odd that people are still doing this and finding entertainment out of it. Don't things like this get old? Well, anyway, I don't really care about these that much, but I care more about the fact that people find them funny, plastering them everywhere, because it's hardly funny in the least. :/

This is a Nazi swastika:

This is the swastika that dates back thousands of years and implies peace or good luck:

Haha, everyone in my class made that mistake in Primary School except me (it was a class project on WWII). Those dolts!
HitlerXXXX joined our server the other day. We all got pretty pissed off. All of a sudden he was joined in the spawn prison by HeinrichHimmlerXXXX. After a few belly laughs from the stupidity of the situation, I banned them both.
Looked at that wikipedia article on swatikas - very interesting stuff there. I found this image particularly interesting:
This is actually a member of the "Red Swastika Society," a Buddhist philanthropic association. Even after knowing this, its amazing how much disgust I feel looking at it. The Nazis really tainted that symbol's true meaning.

Well it's not surprising that a thousand year old symbol with multiple meanings disgusts you seeing as how most of the western world has been indoctrinated since birth to associate it with the German National Socialist Workers Party.
Every child born in the west is raised reading books in which the "bad guys" are portrayed as swastika wearing fascists. School curriculum and history books cast the swastika as a symbol of darkness and evil. Every month new movies and documentaries are made about the holocaust, and WW2, and everywhere you turn in the west you can find a new newspaper article, television show, movie, or holocaust museum that ensures to advise the reader or viewer that the swastika represents hatred and evil.
So is it so surprising that people have such a negative reaction to it in the western world? Not really. We have been programmed from birth to associate it with "Evil."
if you're that easily offended by such a small thing as a swatstika, you really shouldn't be on the internet.
This pretty much sums it up.
Welcome to the internet people. There is no censorship here. If you still view this ancient symbol as a permanent representation of hatred and evil and feel compelled to delete it, then you're either ignorant, support censorship, or are a just simply a griefer yourself.

They're so unsightly and they kill grass ( a lot of people on my server build them in the sky ).
I run a strict rule where they're not allowed. My ban list is getting longer.

It's not just you. I am sick of them too. When I see a swastika, it is the only time I grief: to get rid of it.
Former #minecraft channel operator.
Okay. I get it.
You can let this topic die now.
