Soooo GUESS WHAT!!!! West District Is FINISHED!!!! WOOO.... thank god Lmao. Sooo basically all I did today was add some small details to West District, prettying up the fishing pond, adding additional sitting/relaxation areas, a little sit and eat area outside the tavern, and even a quest bulletin board where players take quests from or for updates. Anyway, I can honestly say Soo far in the project, this has been the most building I have EVER done for minecraft and for you guys. Looking at West district I can honestly say I'm proud of what I've accomplished.
haha BUT THE FUNS NOT OVER!!! Now with west District finished, it's time to move onto NORTH DISTRICT!!!! Woohoo!!! I'll be thinking of how to start it tonight and you may/may not get an update from me tomorrow but if I get enough done, I will update. Here are some photos below in the spoiler of the small details I added to West District.

Hey guys, before I head off to plan for North District, I put up a map outlinging of where North District will be located. If you look at the bottom left map, you can see the tail of the steampunk air ship. Now take the size of the tail in previous screenshots and compare it to the map outlining and you can get a rough estimate of how huge north district will be. Also the black hollow square is where I plan to have a GIANT magic jungle tree castle. This thing will be huge and the tree top will probably shade half of north district and west district combined. Anyway Here's the outline.

Hello Minecraft companions!! Hope all is well!!
What I have for you today (more or less what I've created to share on this forum lol) Is a work in progress dream city called "The City of Avon"
What is Avon?
Avon is a fantasy city that I'm in the process of creating. The city is midevil / steampunk themed and will be stretched through a huge jungle biome. Avon will consist of multiple buildings ranging from NPC cottage homes to functional stores where you can purchase things to even flying airships that actually move.
Why are you creating this?
For some time now I have planned to create a youtube channel which will consist of minecraft mod showcases / texture show offs / lets builds / etc. I also planned on holding a server with a fantasy city being the main spawn point. The only problem holding me back was the fact that I... Didn't... have....minecraft lmao. All I had was the demo version. But now that's not the case, the only thing left to do now is to create Avon.
How often do you plan to give us updates?
More then likely I'll be giving updates on new additions/buildings every day, being the case that there's a lot that I have to do / build. If for some odd reason I don't post an update within a days time, i'll just give more the upcoming day. So don't expect this project to be abandoned, I've put too much work so far in this lol.

Hey guys, so there won't be an update today as I'll be out all day today lol. What I can tell you though is I'll be setting up the central plaza first with houses (for rent) surrounding it. That is my first area I'm working on before I give you guys an update. Oh and I also plan on setting up guilds/factions for people to join in the future with their own respectable guild house. I can't think of good guild names for now but you guys are more than welcome to post possible names that I can use. I will give credit to those who give names that I like. Anyway, until tomorrow!!

Well remember when I first posted 5 buildings that were already built when I created this post? Well that's basically my intention for the first update to North District. Over the past several days I have been laying out where things (buildings) will go and (don't laugh) I printed out the minecraft map of north district for me to use when it comes to laying out where those buildings will be best placed. I am that... obsessive... when it comes to placement lmfao. Also as a heads up I am leaving for Rhode Island for the weekend so don't expect to hear from me until Sunday. I will absolutely try my hardest to give you guys the first update to North District.

*cries* So beautiful the work you have put into this is just outstanding, Loving everything about, its location, the landmarks, the ideas, and the areas of the city you have already made! Loving them lighting effects aswell, which mod is that? I have seen a lighting mod before. Just dunno if its the same one.

So I'm back from my weekend in Rhode Island and it's time to get back to work lol. I spent some freetime over the weekend to continue mapping out where buildings will go and I think I've got everything finished, now it's time for building. So expect an update with a few of the new builds to north district tomorrow. Well 80% of this project will be done by my own intentions as I need to incorporate certain things in Avon and I need to determine where they will be located, which is actually a lot of work when dealing with a jungle biome. However the remaining 20% of the project mostly includes landmarks that I have already mapped out ahead of time and blueprinted. The only challenging task is building them, due to the fact that each landmark is over 5000-10000 blocks (15000 tops) and That would be a lot of work for one person. Which is why I'm putting together a build team of 10-15 people to help build landmarks when the time comes to building them. If you're interested, you can fill out an application here on this link, but if you're not I understand lol. Those who help get rewarded as well, so they're efforts wont be in vain. two people are already on the team.

So Basically What I've done in this update is add the road connecting West and North District as well as added 4 new buildings to North District. These 4 buildings consist of a tavern, a post office (to mail letters to other online players) and 2 large apartment buildings consisting of 3 rooms where people can purchase to live in (much like the small cottages in west district). This will be the central focal point of North district where I'll expand outward as I continue to build. I'm not so much worried about the Auto day/night lights yet until I've finished the buildings for North District, as well as Decorations and misc. details. I did add some in this update, just to make it look pretty for you guys. As for the bare road that connects the two districts, I don't plan to add buildings yet until I've finished the main core of North District.

I won't ruin anything by giving away things so I'll be quiet now and keep it a secret LMFAO.
Anyway There might be another small update tomorrow due to the fact that I'm goin out to my uncle's farm to help him out for a couple hours (this may vary lol). Anyway, comment on what you think of the new buildings!!

Hey guys!! So no update today unfortunately lol, however I will inform you that 2 buildings have been built today when I was free. I plan to build more tonight so there will be a big update tomorrow. HOWEVER I will inform you all that the construction of the second Landmark to Avon will begin next week!!:
Avon, The Tree of Life
Basically picture this. A giant magic jungle tree, shading at least 90% of the 3rd screenshots land, housing a giant castle like construction that will be sculpted into the tree itself!!! After some designing and mapping, this build should range from 2000-5000 minecraft blocks, and that's not counting the tree with it. This will be my biggest task in all with Avon, and possibly the biggest build I will have ever done.
Anyway, this is where I inform you all if you are interested in participating with this monstrous build and being the first to explore / get a closer look at Avon City itself, Sign up to join the Avon building team by clicking this link. Also those that do help will become permanent members of the Avon building team and be granted as admins for the future server this will be incorporated in. Today I bring with me another Update following 3 new additions. These new additions include one shop (which I don't have a use for as of yet lmao), one restaurant where you can eat OUTDOORS!!, and a Rec. Park area where players can relax. This also holds the first Magic fountain in avon, though on a small scale lol. Also, I've already started the roadwork along the cliff where cliff homes will be housed. Players will be able to purchase these homes and decorate the inside of them to their liking (much like the apartment rooms and small cottage homes). All I'm doing for now is laying down the walk path, but the roads will be much more detailed lol. this is only 1/4 of the cliff done, there's still a huge stretch of it that I haven't done lol.
I've also added a poll for you guys to rate my building project thus far if you wish to vote. I would love to hear from you guys, though If you decide to rate, I want honest ratings. Don't think you'll hurt my feelings if you rate my project an 10-0 lol. Still looking for people who are interested in helping me with the 2nd landmark project for next week.
