The reason I asked this is because I want people to be able to share their experiances with others. Something happened to me while i was in creative and it was terrible. I was my first world ever and i had so much done. I decided to go explore and got lost. I didn't know that i could just wipe my inventory and use the comand gamemode 0 to be in survival and sit underwater until I drownded and would have spawned in my cave
Ehh, imo there aren't too many things that could go wrong in creative hahaXD
Let's see, there could be an obvious getting lost, but you can record your coords and just /tp back. or /kill. Then maybe your structure catches on fire, but that could also happen in survival. And another could be that you lag the map with mobs and items everywhere. What else?

Don't know what to build? Here is a "What should I build?" generator!
I once built my best structure ever out of wood, then got a nether portal set up, and I hit the patio with the fire charge instead of the portal block :PBYE BAI HOUSEZ
Well... Good question, but here is the helper. You should know that there's a command called:
/spawnpoint
it set your spawn on the place you are standing.
this command will remove 500 hearts on your health bar, and it also kill you in creative mode.
/kill
Combine them, and then you'll get back to your spawn point fast. Or just write down coords simply, when lost, tp back.
And for me... I build an adventure map called "School escape"(Now available on forum!), and when I was doing the minecart track part, lava burn it up. Luckily that lava didn't burn the building.
having my creations burn down was probably the worst that's ever happened. after a while i just lost interest in building nice houses. why bother, it'll just burst into flame somehow...
I was making an automatic tnt cannon (1.5.2) with dispensers, Everything was perfect, I was herping with on a NPC village, but something happened and the cannon blew up... I never found what gone wrong...

Back when I was a little noob, I decided it would be a good idea to put a pool of lava under my Creeper statue made of wool. The whole thing burnt down.
I was making a parkour map, and on the last part if you fell you fell through one block of water held up by signs. They were all branched off one, and I accidentally deleted that one sign. They all fell, and to make it worse, the water wiped out all of my redstone.
My worse creative map was when I cheated to creative caged the ender dragon then went to hardcore then the ender dragon BROKE FREE Then he just killed me - iron manAnd I have a custom iron man 3 mod so I can use the Mark 42 as seen in iron man 3
I made a line 3000 block long line out of TNT and while i held my back button down i stumbled upon a pond of lava randomly place in the field. nuff said
