It's been a dream of mine to have a chess game in Minecraft, using players as pieces, wearing skins that look like the pieces they're playing. Anyone want to try this with me? Now that there are going to be horses, that would be perfect for representing the knights. We can make a big chess board too, it'll be cool.
Unfortunately we'd need to borrow someone's server, cause I don't have one atm. I would be willing to build the board, make the skins and possibly record it for youtube.
Well now that you mention it I would of eventually gotten around to doing a virtual checker board. unfortunately there are no coin shaped objects in this limited game. but oh silly me, the whole point in this sorry excuse of a game is to build with blocks only.
survival mode is tedious enough, I'm not into collecting. but to have to oversize everything just to make it look half decent really bores me. unless this game improves in the near future I will have to go and look for something better. Sim City 4 might be for me.
lol at Simcity 4...xD enjoy playing that crap. to me it doesn't sound like minecraft is your game.

The Trivial Sublime. I like to turn off time and kill my mind.
^ That review is too outdated. Most of the stuff he said wasn't spot on, it was outdated. He claimed notch made 30 (or so) unfulfilled promises, when those things were already added/only something he said he'd consider adding. Some things I can agree with, like a poor combat system, but overall the review is outdated and emotionally charged.
I can't stress enough that emotionally charging something makes it unprofessional and somewhat invalid!
/ontopic: This is a pretty cool concept, and I wish you luck. (and no griefers)
