What I want to build is a system of an indeterminate amount of levers, that, when any lever is pulled, decreases a counter by one, and when a lever is turned off, it adds one to the counter. Is this possible?

Allocators are no longer the future, we have Hoppers now. I still like them, though.
That's not the point, though. I could do what you said, easily, but I have no idea how to make something receive a bunch of signals from various sources, separate them, then process them.
