Is there any way to remove mobs from creative mode? It's absolutely FCKING ridiculous that Creepers can blow stuff up in creative mode. If I forget to put torches everywhere, I'll stumble across a creeper and BOOM, there goes my next 5-10 minutes, fixing the crap they blew up. I'm playing in creative mode cuz I wanna build, not deal with random crap like that...
1.) Give us the option to turn off mods (or... show me if I'm missing that option)
2.) Just flat out remove damage from mobs
3.) Just flat out remove creepers.
Like DungeonMaster201 said, use the command "/gamerule doMobSpawning false". That'll stop new mobs from spawning, but the old ones stay alive.
To get rid of the old ones, use "/kill @e[type=!Player]". That kills every entity except for you. But this will also kill armor stands, item frames, dogs, cats, ect., So make sure you replace any of those if you want them.
Because many mobs drops items when they die, use the same kill command again. This time it'll kill the items, so all that's left are you and your blocks!
It doesn't get rid of the mobs. It just stops them from spawning.
If you want to kill all the mobs, enter '/kill @e[type=!Player]' (without the quotes, of course), into the command line. Do this a couple of times and all the mobs will die

This works, but it has one issue. /kill @e[type=!Player] gets rid of ALL entities other than the player. This includes minecarts, boats, paintings, etc. So if you have any of those in your world (and you don't want them deleted), you may want to do this instead:
1) Set difficulty to Peaceful.
2) do /gamerule doMobSpawning false
3) Use /kill commands to kill each passive mob type individually (e.g. /kill @e[type=Cow] kills all cows, /kill @e[type=EntityHorse] kills all horses, and so on). You may want use the wiki to look up the entity names because some are a bit different from the ingame names.

"whatever you do don't die"
hit exit, go to options, and than click the difficulty until it says "Peaceful" and nothing will spawn! (except slims unless they changed it recently)
Wouldn't passive mobs spawn still?
accept spiders and ghasts?

How do you get rid of bats
they are very annoying
Try /gamerule doMobSpawning false
This gets rid of ALL mobs.
I'm sure there is a command, and if not try peaceful.
If all else fails, slap them with your sword!

Do /gamerule doMobSpawning false - that will help solve you're problem.

If you don't like it, come back tomorrow
If you still don't like it get glasses.
If you STILL don't like it, I give up
