well, I am still building at creative, also with limited time due to working and headaches due to computer (well, my eyes are already damaged through the years) or work. now Im not at the university but will take back in a month so, starting a very large project now at creative, without mods, would be stupid as I would finish it by the end of the next year and would have to drop the other projects I already have started.
but, I already planned to start Laguna using MCEdit because, well, pillars and towers 190 blocks height, 20 to 60 blocks wide, with large girders and a super wide plateau of around 5000x5000 to 10000x10000 (havent decided yet, and I think I will decide after I build enough of it at the world) with mega builds, detailed and different of each other) in it (builds the size of the castle I posted or bigger, some a bit smaller) is something I wouldnt want to start at creative, would need all day long for several months to complete such task.
I also planned to make a side project, that would also be very big, that is the replication of every DOOM, DOOM 2 and Final DOOM maps, one map directly connected to the other making one big map only, but that is also something to do using MCEdit and when I get more experience with it.
This is a timelapse of a mountain castle, an entire month in the making, from building to editing. This is based off Kaer Morhen from the Witcher, but I decided to jazz up the structure and add my own details including a custom interior which may be shown when it is completed.
This is my minecraft castle. It's not nearly finished, but has been a really big project for years ( I started this back when Beta MC became a thing!) Obviously new blocks have led to extreme refinement, but my build style is all about furnishing everything and trying to keep things detailed. No mods have ever been used in this things creation.
