A Station for playing... Is that like an Apple store?
I just posted something about my skyscraper, but my PC is spazzing out so my screenshots don't work. But my building style involves A LOT of Quartz blocks, Quartz Slabs, Quartz Stairs, Glowstone, Ice, Glass Panes, and Carpet, white or cyan. I'm a modern person, and to be honest, I HATE super-fancy buildings with too many arches and too much extra space with nothing but Stone Bricks. Kind of like the LichCraft spawn.
I once built something like this, in hexxit. It was a bit bigger scale and I accidentally broke the world by exploring massive amounts of terrain, like the normal space you'd usually live in survival [I'd say about a 2000 block square], to the power of 17. It broke the world. That was also before I got Java 64, so it crashed every ten minutes.
I would like to share a link to a video compilation of three worlds. The first world is a creative world I call "Architecturesk", the second is my very first survival single player world which I named "Striped elephant", and the third is a survival multiplayer world.
In these worlds I have builds that I copied and/or modified, as well as original builds. I've built from clothing stores and tiki bars to cemeteries.
I like to take inspiration from real life buildings and play around with other player's builds to find cool design ideas. For example, I love the combination of white stain clay and jungle wood planks. They are both ugly with most blocks but together they're amazing. I found out while playing around with a Bdub's design.
