When I made my first minecraft world, I was playing minecraft PE, and I was really dumb back then because I did not even know how to switch to creative lol. So I had to play survival until my cousin learned me how to do it, and I remember playing with him and making, at one point, a big diamond house with gold and emerald blocks combined. It was weird, but it was perfect. When I started playing Minecraft java, in my first world, I build a small underground base in creative, where I would test different things. Now, what is your story?
For some reason this post changed to creative mode lol.
I played my first minecraft world with my friend on survival. I didn’t know anything about the game. My friend played the game long before I started playing. Instead of teaching me how to play the game, my friend basically tricked me into going mining for him and giving him all my resources. Eventually he built a house, got armour and tools while I was mining for him with no armour and basically no tools. It was still fun though lol.
I started playing it when it had released not long ago
When I was around 6-7 years old (I am almosty sure I was already 7 XD)
I remember installing many virus on my father's computer to install the game (fortunately, I got the original not long after as a gift )
and when I finally was able to play (on a unoriginal version)
I created the famous blocked cobblestone house on creative
and I "tamed" a pig, giving it a saddle (I am almost sure in that time you could not use a carrot in a rod, or I was too dumb XD)
His name was "Oink" or smth, it was pretty dumb
and I remember doing a handmade lake
But Oink got stuck on the water and drowned
I got really sad
I remember my first Minecraft world was on my Ipad. Like you, I was dumb as a rock, but I first played creative because I was testing out everything (I was 7). I didn't even know how to build a house, so I went far into a cave, placed a bed, furnace, chest, painting, and a single end portal block and said it was a house.
I started in minecraft pe edition. Honestly it was long ago so i don't think i remember the very first build, probably a classic box house what everyone does at the start. But like the first proper build i did was a church kind of thing inside a mountain. which is weird cuz i am not religious and dont go to churches. But it was cool.
once i got java edition i was already better at building and planning and over all gaming on it. me and my brother started a world and we made houses next to each other. again, some badly built box like house but getting better cuz it had some dimention.
I started in minecraft java edition and the first thing I got is a command block. I watched a lot of minecraft videos. I placed the command block and typed in "/kill @s" and set it to repeat. I died over and over again. Then I deleted the world and created another. I got killed by the mobs over and over again. And I always play Peaceful since then. (I started a easy world a week ago, I died for like 15 times?)
So I was a noob, who wasn't a noob. I have seen others play Minecraft and got interested. My first time in a Minecraft world was where I was in creative mode on the Nintendo Switch. I made this not-so-gigantic house that I called my mansion. I am glad I was in creative mod because I thought pillagers were supposed to guard your house. I was like these are security guards. Put some beds down, and was going to make a yard for them, but they jumped the iron fence. I then made a trench around my house and filled it with lava. I haven't played that world since. I have made just a few worlds... OK a lot of worlds.
In my very first world I spawned on an island in the middle of the ocean, without a single tree, I jumped into the water but immediately closed the game upon meeting the Squids because I thought they looked terrifying!

In my first world I had no idea how to craft or even to swim, so I repeatedly died.
Everyone had a first Minecraft world.

Pretty dumb story, but that's it

Went to creative mode and built a McDonald's. Yes, a McDonald's.

Taking the question literally:
Punched a few (3? been a 'few' years) dirt to make a trench & pillar to mark the spawn point.

I had never read anything about the game so I gathered some wood, unable to understand crafting and unable to swim, and hid in duggy holes.
My first world was a small peninsula plains on a taiga forest with many frozen rivers. It was not very friendly to begin with.
I thought... I'll burn the pixel world to ashes
First thing i did, was in PE and it was: not know how to play, die in the first night then rage and uninstall the game
Chaos ensues... Do not let it consume everything
