Oooo, that looks lovely. And I so love the little planter out front.
Man, I'm so bad with compact builds. I try, and then I keep expanding and I can't figure out how to stuff everything in that I need... XP
Your stairs. Your stairs are so much better than mine. You can even still place windows down to look out. I don't know why, but I can never make myself build them without the entire structure of them going all the way to the floor. Just earlier today, I couldn't cram my stairs into a restaurant I was building, because I'm too pig-headed to make spiral-style stairs, so I built them on the outside of the building and set a door down leading outside. XD It still fits with the overall design, and I added some flourishes to it, but still. XD
stairs take practice. in all honesty, i didnt really like the way i did those, because they'd never work in reality, but if you like them, im very glad but as for size, im the opposite buddy. i suck at big builds and i excel in much much smaller ones. dunno why, maybe it's because i have a short attention span and i cant focus that much energy into a bigger build.
I'm an ambitious builder. Actually, in general, I'm an ambitious artist. I usually intend to create something simple, and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger as I go. XD Flash fiction gets turned into novels, doodles turn into entire pages of comic book... Today my project was to build a small set of stables and a restaurant/ inn, and they were SUPPOSED to be small and humble, obscured by the trees.
Well, let's just say those trees are unable to do their job anymore. XD
But I also LOVE to build large clusters of small builds (when I can wrangle them down to the right size). I don't know why.. I just love the busy look, I guess. XD
just a quick design i made on the fly, with some later added details. a small 7x6 cottage with all your basic needs, and a small loft.
you've got the wrong guy!

Fantastic, I love it. I'm a big fan of small humble homes. I do think that this part up here could be a little more interesting though:
true. ive been experimenting with roof types, but nothings really worked out for me so far. if you have any ideas id be happy to hear them
