I am trying to build a Medieval Kingdom starting with this small town. I will make the capital soon but not till I am done with this small wood and farming town called Snow Golum City. Here are some pictures of the small city. The first one is a small town hall with a chimney. the 2nd one in a windmill with a small farm house behind it where the windmill guy lives. The last picture is the inside of the town hall where a "throne" lays where the mayor sits and the doors at the top lead into a bed area where the trap door leads to the treasure room and storage. I have added a granary and another section to the city.
Other then what i have built i am not sure what to build next in the town. It is suppose to be the wood and farming area for the kingdom but i dont know what to build beside more farms and stuff to show that any ideas?
I suggest building a large wheat farm around/edge of the city. You could also make a dock with stilts and make some boats adrift or docked. Since it is called Snow Golum City, add some snow! Other than that, here is a cake!
I also added a ruin wall some houses in the new section and a bridge leading to a high mountain where a tower ( wizard or something like that) will be. I also added the a wheat field around one of the small lakes.
wow um ok thanks for your input but now i feel really bad about my building and i may just stop building this altogether cause you people don't understand this is a small village not the capital and not a major city just a small wood and farming village its not going to get very big and its not going to be very tall so get off my case. As for the lack of inspiration i was trying to get the forums involved in this as well as my self i don't want to go on to youtube and "barrow" ideas from major youtubers i want this to be my own and not have something someones already seen. as for the walls of the houses i haven't had time to decorated the outside and I am getting to that today or tomorrow maybe some flower boxes or some steps. Oh and yes you killed my enthusiasm big time there is criticism and then there is destroying your feeling for something. you destroyed my feeling for this project utterly.
I think it all looks great. Not every build has to look like a perfect replica of some real life building. This game at its core is about blocks. Cubes. Everything in the world is block so I see nothing wrong with going with that theme as having cubelike houses. When I make a village I rarely plan what I make just go with the flow and if I think it looks bad I will alter it. Great job OP
