The client can only generate Small (128x64x128) Medium (256x64x256) and Large (512x64x512) worlds due to UI (User Interface) limitations currently. However McForge-Redux or compatible servers can send much larger worlds to the client because I increased the available memory to storing the world. In the 0.3 version coming up, this will all have changed so 'hopefully' after the UI redesign I will be able to add more buttons to the generate world menu. The current limitation is that the UI source is obfusticated and hard to work with but once I finish rewriting the core UI it should be easy to add more buttons.
Please make a Java 8 compatible version, and please also make it work better on Windows 10.
EDIT: I tweaked the config so that it functions properly.
It is compiled with Java 6 to keep specifications low. Not all OSes can run Java 8 (Java 8 is binary compatible with Java 7 which in turn is compatible with Java 6)
If you can, you can help everyone by showing us how you got it working in Java 8 so I can include some automated method of getting it to work via an alternative Launcher Script or preloader
The olddays mod is dead, sorry to tell you.
The far lands generation was epic, why not re-add it?
If Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter were all destroyed, 90% of teens would
go insane. If you're one of the 10% that would be laughing at them,
copy & paste this into your signature and hope it happens.
Have you thought about working with ClassiCube? They've already deobfuscated most of the source code so it's easier to work with, and the community is probably a lot more active than MC Classic is these days.

GENERATION 9005: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Social experiment

Almost finished a 0.31 version of omega that will remove the null pointer exception from 0.31 and fix saving WITHOUT FIDDLER!
Is it done? If yes, can you (upload it and) post a download link?.

Been working on some improvements, mainly performance to get FPS boost on low end laptops. Trying to aim this game at low end computer users that can't play regular minecraft. Computers that can't play regular minecraft CAN play this even if PIXEL FORMAT NOT ACCELERATED because there is a software rendering fallback. On a lot of low end computers and laptops you will see FPS for 100+ and on a mid range desktop you will see 300-600 and on a high end developer's machine you can see FPS of way over 1000 and reaching 2000.
Multiplayer support has been ditched for the next release, overall stability improvements and lots of features from ClassiCube and WoM client have been added, daylight cycle removed (its classic after all).
And yes we are very close to a release. Mac users will appreciate the double click to run .JAR file.
To modify minecraft classic I use the source code and InteliJ and to modify/update minecraft beta 1.7.3 I use MCP Minecraft Coder Pack. To modify indev i use decompiled parkways indevhack

This is pretty cool, but liquids are hard to contain.
I flooded my world with water in mere seconds with just a single water block...
Then with lava..... Then water again... And now even more lava...
So now I have a flooded super flat world...

Any progress for 0.3?

Added hacks and a Coordinate sensor
Update: How about a day night cycle and dynamic lighting!
Where can I get this version?

Yes, this client is 100% compatible with classicube servers running in offline mode. Just fire in an IP and your off!

Is the official server for this still up?

Its pretty much done, I am just fixing crashes that happen due to small bugs.
Surprised there's no Mac users here. I will try tinkering around with this...

I had the same problem.
If I understand correctly the Appdata folder is Application Support in the Mac library.
