Do you remember the game mode that got cancelled called the battle mode as well? Were in creative, build two forts then turn to battle mode and fight the other team?
I think you should make a world were people get ready inside THEIR fortress until invulnerability runs out and then both teams have an objective, capture a block of wool and bring it to your podium. The RED team defends the wool and the BLUE team tries to capture the wool. The map would have two fortresses, blues main room has a podium were the red wool goes. Reds main room has a podium with the red wool on it. This mini game is just tike TeamFortress2 don't you think?
