I recently started playing Battle after downloading TU36 and I love having a "hunger games" on console edition. However, I have many ideas of what else to add to console that would make the console edition more fun and enjoyable for everyone. Here is my list of 5 ideas to be implemented into the mini games option on Minecraft Console Edition.
Speed Mini Game
X-run was a classic PC game with lots of parkour jumps and struggle. This might be an amazing addition to console edition, since this game mode if fun yet stressful and very VERY competitive. Seeing this on Xbox or PlayStation would make me go crazy. This is a very fun game to play against friends, and seeing all these people running really fast and jumping obstacles like in X-run would be a very fun game.
Holes Mini Game
Another classic PC mini game was spleef, a game where you try digging the ground below your opponents and stay on top. This game is very fun, and if it were on the consoles, this would bring the community together. However, there should be some changes like not having snow and shovels for spleef, since anyone could make that in creative mode. Somehow, this should change. I'd also like to see the bats with spectators like in Battle.
Team Battle Mini Game
Battle is a great and exciting game mode, but what if there was another spin to battle, like perhaps having teams (4v4). I love playing together with friends and having another battle for friends would make me smile. It doesn't have to be just like the "hunger games" style combat, but it could be like two to four teams starting off on each side of an obstacle course and are given tools to fight with against the other. I would be stoked to see this one get on the console edition.
Village Mini Game
In my mind, Village is a new idea where people just play together and build in plots, similar to creative mode, where all you do is hop on a server and start building on a plot. It would be fun to show off plots to other players you haven't met before and play together with each other's inventions. There shouldn't be a time limit, since it is creative; rather have servers just fill up with players and create a village of creations by all these players. It would be great to have a save plot option, but that might be asking for too much.
Build Mini Game
I would be so excited to see the classic Build Battle into the Minecraft Console Edition. It's a very fun and easy game for all players and it would be fun to determine which of your friends is the better builder. Of course, the bat spectator thing is a must, since it provides a fun and easy way to see spectators, as well as a need to have a judge, though guardians aren't in the Xbox console edition yet, though I'm not sure about PlayStation. Anyways, this is an amazing idea for a mini game.
