Showcasing my solo survival mega build with over one million blocks mined and placed on the Xbox One version. First I built the house and the small wall. I then discovered a villager who sells the mending enchant book, it was then that I decided building somthing of this size was easily possible considering I would be able to keep the same fully upgraded tools and not go through 2000 pickaxes. I then proceeded to obtain the wings, boots with feather falling, fully upgraded diamond tools with silk touch enchant, and the ender chest, which allowed me to hold twice the amount of materials at a time. Without these tools, I would have never attempted such a build in survival. I started by completely mining away serval mountains where the small wall is located. A lot of stone came from that. When I needed more stone, I proceeded to hollow out multiple mountains to bedrock. The wood is dark oak, obtaining this was the most annoying because I could'nt locate any tree spawns nearby, I had to travel far away so many times to get more oak. Also as everyone knows the process of cutting down enough trees to fill two inventories is a major pain. I never really had a full layout, I just started building and adding things as I went. You can see that the base of the main castle is in fact similar to the Eleum Loyce castle from Dark Souls 2. The small church looking building is similar to the building that holds the painted world painting in Anor Londo from Dark Souls 1. The tower on the hill is in fact the tower from the Dark Souls 3 second dlc, the one you can't get to in the distance. It's been pretty much inspired by the Dark Souls trilogy. This being, I wanted to create a world that eventually would look like a Dark Souls area. I'm sure you'll notice some familiar designs/structures. Construction started around mid November, 2016, and I worked on it every single day, 12 hour sittings, for months, then I got job and construction was reduced to every now and again. I would have liked to add more detail to some things but it's very tedious in survival mode. I'm using the natural texture pack, all grass is overturned to dirt path because half the build is in a snow biome. I'm pretty sure I'm about done adding things to the world for now until further notice. Please enjoy, be inspired, and feel free to ask questions, I'll respond to them as quick as I can! Thanks for looking!
Sorry for the horrible quality of these last photos. They're images taken of my tv using my phone. The first photo just shows the earliest image I have of the build. The second photo shows my stats for Xbox Minecraft. The third photo shows me earning an achievement in the world to demonstrate that achievements and leaderboards are still enabled. Thanks!
Holy cow that's amazing! Can I ask without being rude, why build it on console? I just feel with easy access to PC you can have way more freedom with building, plus how laggy is that world getting with console now. Great build though, I envy people who can make such large and beautiful structures!
Edit: I just realized this is in a Survival Mode Thread. I have no words on how you can do that. lol 10/10 just 10/10 my friend

Hey thanks Man! I hope these images can inspire some people! The reason I play on xbox is because I don't own a working PC, and the PC cross compatible version that was released on Xbox, you can' t turn off autosave, or at least I could not find any option regarding it. The main reason that is important to me is because a large majority of the build was done by reloading the save in case I mess up or not like the design. Also, in that version, when I take screenshots of the world no matter the settings, some areas of the build would be sorta corrupt, or (see through). Cheers!

Very impressive is an understatement.
Thanks friend!
Do you play creative as well? I'd love to see some of your worlds
