I have a beacon in the standard XBox One Edition of Minecraft. I have done a conversion on the world to try the "Better Together" edition, which, in my opinion, is simply "Not Better"!
Anyway, the range of the beacon in the Better Together edition does not match the range of the beacon in the older edition. Does anyone have a link they can point me to where I can understand the range of the beacon in the Better Together edition?
It could be because in bedrock chunks are only entity processing up to 64 blocks (4 chunks) away from the player, in legacy console I believe the render distance is 10 chunks, all entity processing. Since beacons are tile entities they are effectively shut off in lazy or unloaded chunks.
