I have run into this as well. These new seeds are so empty! I see many, many wells without villages, and seem to be in areas that are ripe for a village to spawn. I have to wonder if the small biomes are part of the problem? I seem to have the opposite issue though, with biomes that will take up an entire map.
I'm almost certain that the biome is too small for a complete village to spawn, so most of the time villages do not spawn. If they do, it is usually only a well or a couple of huts.

That makes sense, actually. To me, it seems like one large biome, but the game may read it differently. If it is not reading enough space, a village won't spawn? I wish it would take elevation into consideration as well, I have seen some pretty strange cliff-villages!
Created a automated wheat farm (prior to the update happening waiting for it). Finally had a new farming villager spawn put him in the wheat field (filling up its inventory with seeds). Watched him harvest crop (went AFC), saved the game and quit for the night then next day farmer just stands around and does nothing. Same thing happened several times with different villagers
Endermen farms are broken. In the end, my enderman farm with tripwire didn't have any spawning in it so I checked my other world which had one with pressure plates, and there were no spawns in there either. So mobs aren't spawning on pressure plates or string like they used to. Then I painstakingly made another enderman farm consisting of a platform with an endermite in the middle attracting the endermen into a hole with open trapdoors (all survival, no spawn eggs, I know endermen aren't attracted to those) and the endermen aren't going after the endermite even when I'm far away from it.

As for me, deactivating pistons did not help. BUT, I did purchase a new Hard Drive for my One. I got a two terabit SSHD that runs at 7200rpm. With this hard drive, I have had a significant decrease in the crash on load on most worlds. It is not gone, but happens less frequently.
Since the update, my redstone hidden doors are lagging and open and reopen three times very fast. The game is extremely laggy and my build is small. It also says I can't join my friends server since we are not friends but we are.
On to another one. Found out you can make Lapis blocks but cannot revert the block back into the 9 separate pieces of Lapis.
The recipe is in with the dyes, not with the other "blocks of"... at least that's where it is on the Xbox 360 and I assume it's the same on the Xbox One. I've done it a number of times since the update.
Has anyone had any problems with loading a saved game and it immediately crashes after it loads?
It seems as though if you save in an area next to a complex redstone device, such as a hidden stair case or a 3x3 door system, you can not load the game anymore.

Has anyone else noticed the new effect range for the beacon? I placed my beacons on the bottom layer & was able to feel the effects at sea level, but since the new update it hasn't been working as it use to.
Is it just me or are slimes bugged as far as spawning in a slime chunk?
Yes, I made sure it was in a slime chunk. Triple checked it. In fact, I have 3 chunks lumped together so i'm trying to make a triple slime farm.
Yes, I lit the place up with Jack o' Lanterns.
Yes, I went to caves that are really close to the farm and lit them up to oblivion. Not all, but some that was most apparent that it needs to be lit up. There may be other caves but ever since I lit the apparent caves, sounds like no monster were nearby after that.
I have no idea what's going on. Is this an official bug, because I know the patch notes says increase slime spawning, but... is it officially a bug?
After going through many witch huts clearing out swamps and testing I have not found one that is bigger then, 9x7x3, which only allows for one spawning floor, it seems to be that although they still spawn on the same y cords( y 62 ) but the sea levels around them has risen probably due to terrain generation and anything under the water although still part of the witch hut only spawns in regular mobs like spiders skelleys and creppers.
I have just finished digging out two quads and a triple slime chunk and is overwhelmed with the bouncy buggers, but it is in a brand new tu31 seed, on the other hand my girl just dug out her own triple chunk and is getting zero slimes, she is playing on her seed which was generated awhile ago, maybe the chunks got all jumbled up due to terrain gen...
Hey i found a bug which i don't think has been reported which is that maps on the wall close to each other change to another one, they always end up displaying thw same map as each other. Over large distances this doesnt happen.
Ok 4jSteve need answers. This was a reported issue and they marked as "Resolved" but is NOT resolved. My games revolve around exploration so this is a deal breaker.

2. Invisible fire. Seems to be worse with certain TP.
3. Invisible blocks preventing movement randomly.
4. (My most hated) Maps in item frames do not work.
5. Mobs freezing momentarily (1-3 secs) after initial blow from.
6. Mob cap is so small it's useless to build useful contraptions. So basically I count this as broke due to the fact that I'm having to hack and slash and run around constantly to keep stock on meat.
7. Disappearing animals that are fenced. I have to use a name tag to ensure they don't go "poof."
8. Biome sizes. My issue with this is the swamp sizes. It's insane trying to get slime to spawn even when the moon is right.
9. Armour stand cap is 16... Are you guys kidding me. My investment: I have mine craft for pc, pe, x360, and mcxone But all I get on mcxone is 16 stands.
?is there still an option to keep your gui 100% visible but if not using it, then it disappears instead of fading?
