I have been playing minecraft xbone for about a week so I have only played the most current update. Since I have started I have played several maps and explored alot of desert and grassland biomes and I think there is something wrong with village spawning. I have found about 10 water wells with no village surrounding them, all in the desert. I have found a few villages but only in the desert. I have yet to see a village(or lone well) in a grassland biome. I'm starting to think village generation is bugged. has anyone else noticed this? Have you seen a village in grassland since the latest update? Have you found more lone water wells than villages? Keep in mind I'm only talking about games created in the current version.
It's been hit or miss for me, honestly. I've found seeds with tons of villages, and I've found seeds with no villages what so ever. The world I'm playing on now seems to have more desert biome villages than grassland biome villages.
I was talking about the village it's self. I think a village should be around a well not just villagers. I'm saying i think there is an issue with village generation.
From my understanding its been this way forever there has always been random wells and villages and for desert villages i would say you find more of those than flatland villages because desert is more common
Village spawning broken?
