Well, lately thanks to the new update TU19, after doing multiple things, I decided to make a wither auto wood harvesting machine.
I looked up a tutorial on how to make it, made it in a test world, and it worked wonderfully! I logged on to the flat world on survival, the Wither didnt escape no matter what I did, fantastic right? (I also tested it in the other orientations to see if it worked, and it did)
But then all the beautiful stuff ended, after the success on my test world, I decided to now make it on my survival world, I spend alot of time making sure that it was all in one official chunk (its really important), and prepared all my resources and ofc, the wither heads.
So when I got everything together, I decided to look at the tutorial step by step again just to be EXTREMELY sure that it was properly made, since its my main world. I made it, and I got ready for spawning the Wither. So, I spawned it, and it actually worked! The wither stayed in place and I was sooo happy....Untill I decided to test re-logging into my world....
And ofc, everything has to fail, the wither was actually still focusing the iron golem and snow golem, but somehow it either glitched in through the slab ceiling, or glitched through the fences that held him in place, and broke free... after I saw that I killed him ofc. I decided to test re-logging in different situations: Getting far away and re-logging, escaped; Stayed near the machine but out of the wither's sight, escaped. Every possible way of re-logging I tried, it escaped, but the whole reason I made this post is, the fact that on my test world, I can relog in survival, in any possible way or orientation, and the wither stays in place no matter what.
So, if anyone more experienced knows why this is happening, it would help alot, cause I havent been as confused by anything else other than this, cause I made it exactly as my test world.
Some things about my survival world: Its really laggy, after updates and updates, its became laggier, don't know if that affects it; The wither is a bit undergroud, but the whole chunk has a sky access; And its the biggest world size, even though my test world is also maxed (I expanded it cause it was brought from 360), and the max sized worlds don't have spawn chunks as the classic ones.
Thats all I have to say, sorry for the extremely long post but I need help, Im gonna wait till the bug fix update go see if that solves anything.
