That's right folks - the first annual Tournament has been declared open! Contestants from far and wide compete in a variety of challenges to claim the title "Soldier of the Wasteland" and for the lovely grand prizes that are only accessible via tournament! Can you escape your doomed fate as you single-handily wipe out your competition, or will you form alliances to become another step closer to your path? Choose your destiny and overcome all odds as we come across...
Pair up with another teammate to conquer the arena! Can your squad defeat other teams in this close-knit arena?
A dirty free-for-all, with chests in hidden areas that can make or break your path to winning. Will you form an ally, or have the whole world against you?
The finale has arrived...only two players left, standing on a small ring above treacherous lava pits with no way out. It's the official hell in a cell.
Of course, with every tournament, we have simple guidelines. Here are all the rules:
Only 6 players are able to compete in the tournament. To become a part of it, you must pass the preliminaries.
Entry cost for the tournament is $10 (paper currency).
After each challenge, two weakest links are eliminated from the tournament.
Challenge 1 is a team effort, Challenge 2 is option-based (solo or co-op), and Challenge 3 is sudden death.
There are three prizes followed by a grand prize. The prizes consist of: (1) Iron Block, (1) 1 Gold Block, (1) Diamond Block + Diamond Helmet & Diamond Sword
Before each challenge, each player rests up in a given location, then is killed off to ensure no items are in the player's inventory. Weapons for certain challenges will be given upon time for the challenge.
All players who sign up must have an already established house and residential card (a sign w/ your name on your building) plus a job (storekeeper + additional city job). The official date and time of the tournament is this Saturday 5/6pm PST, and may contain a duration of perhaps an hour (it's not that long of a tournament). To officially apply for the tournament, please state in your post whether you are interested or not. Players must be 17+, no exceptions. All challenges are monitored by myself and an official to ensure quality and fair game of the tournament. Last but not least...have fun! This tournament is meant to give something new and refreshing to our members, and what better way than a legal way of killing other players to come out on top? Hope to see you there!
Age: I'm fourteen, but I'm not an immature idiot, and I do follow rules. I'm respectful, polite, and can be a great assistance.
Mic: I do have a mic.
Position you'd like to apply: Miner/builder/lumberjack. I'm fine with any of those jobs, I'm a good builder. I know lumberjack isn't a job, but I can get logs and planks to builders if they are to need it.
Any questions?: Has your server been griefed at all? I don't want to build a house for it to be griefed. I'm not sure how easily you let players in, and if I were to get in, I would want to know if I should take any cautions.
Position you'd like to apply:Builder, Here is some of my recent work if you were wondering: http://mcxphotos.com/micheal.hilton.33
Any questions?: How soon can I start?
Also! I forgot to mention some specifics about some jobs...
City jobs are paid based on how much you earn according to a stack. City gains 5% of earnings. So for instance, if you have one stack of cobblestone, the city gains 5 pieces. Diamond and Gold is fair game for you to keep. For each stack of whatever you bring back, you gain $10 (it accumulates very easily).
Builders and shopkeepers can determine their own prices for people using their services.
Players are allowed to have two jobs - one city job, and one freelance job (shopkeeper, building [public like a casino, courthouse, etc etc.] owner, apprentice).
The only jobs allowed outside the village are: hunters, lumberjacks, miners, and League members.
The city has the right to refuse services on specific items. For instance, if we have too much cobblestone from miners, we have the authority to decline cobble. But we can still purchase whatever you mined (this is why being a shopkeeper is also a good investment!).
Yes, it IS possible to rank up to higher jobs (and yes, there are 2nd ranked jobs).
