Why do squids in minecraft pride themselves on dying? No seriously, every other time that there's a beach in my worlds, all I ever witness is squid coming on the shore and suffocating themselves to death! Now some would say that this is an accident, but I believe that the squids do it on purpose! And according to Google at which couldn't have been anymore unclear, they do this because of a certain asset in their code that condones them swimming towards land and coming onto the surface and dying because of the air! I just think it's not right...when they do that, I just try my best to push them back into the water. Poor guys.
