Got a strange question, but I hope people here can answer. I have a Xbox 360, that hasn’t had Minecraft updated on it since TU19 (2014). I would enjoy updating my Minecraft on my old Xbox. But I have a world on there from 2012 that I do not want to loose as it is my childhood world. Would updating my Minecraft corrupt this world into glitching/loosing chunks/breaking completely? Or should I be able to update without losing everything my younger self made? I know Xbox360 only goes to Aquatic, but it’s still a large jump to update that far. Really need some help with this.

There shouldnt be any problem updating the game straight from the oldest version. You more likely wont have access to some of the new block or items on worlds you made before the update especially if they require specific item only found in worlds generated with the latest update. (Unless you have it in creative mode which then you can just add the the item in.)
At the most you'll experience is some settings may glitch to where it sets the look sensitivity to zero to where you cant look around .which can be fixes easily. Just go into in the setting and turn the look sensitivity back up. Thats about it.
