Hey, as you probably know, we're getting new updates of the gane and in some months we'll have 1.13 in Xbox.
What I wonder is if we're gonna get the features of the combat Update like 2 hands(in the inventory you can see the other hand slot) , sweeping edge, shields, cooldown and all that stuff.
Is Xbox 360 edition trying to be merged with bedrock or we aren't getting this features because of 4J studios don't know yet how to implement it?
Console will probably never see the current java combat mechanics. When they changed combat it divided the community, some like the new features, and many hate it, especially pvp'ers. There are rumors that combat will be changed again in coming official releases for java edition. This will not make it to old gen console though, as when we get the aquatic update, and probably some bugfix updates after that, all old gen development will be abandoned. Bedrock edition combat is also still missing many of the features that java has, it works a lot like console combat, where your off hand only holds a couple items, and cannot be used to weild weapons.
I don't believe its that 4j can't figure out how to do it, I believe that its a corporate decision to try to balance what is considered 'good' about the new combat and leave out the stuff that the vast majority of players don't like.
As far as being merged with bedrock, the answer is no, 4j gave us some of the bedrock features, like some movable tile entities, the wither is like the bedrock version and theres a couple more technical changes that most players never notice. If development were to be continued after the 1.13 update we would likely see more bedrock features (or nerfs, depending on how you look at it). Ps4 players will find out as this version will continue to be developed as a one off for ps4 because Sony refused the bedrock deal, but that may not last long either. Microsoft has made it abundantly clear they are done with console version, if you have a x-one or switch you cannot purchase legacy console anymore, unless you buy a second hand hard copy, which was never offered for the switch. I believe that as soon as Microsoft can get out of their contract with Sony they will, and PlayStation will be abandoned completely.
