This happens too me sometime In signed in but when I try to go to my worlds it takes me directly to the tutorial world.
It only happens every once in a while.it happens Cause there was an error that the game doesn't recognize the profile your on and takes you to the demo.
Try starting the initial tutorial tutorial world the demo normally starts up then exit the tutorial world then try again making sure the profile is signed and is recognized by the game
I have the full disc copy of mc xbox 360 edition, but sometimes it boots up the demo version of the game. Anybody know how to fix this.

Are you connected to the internet and signed into xbox live or offline when this happens or both?
I had this issue too and then we noticed a lot of fine scratches near the edge of the disk (used disk came with used 360 we bought for xmas)
went to a "unnamed game store" and bought a serious disk cleaner and it hasn't happened since we ran it through
