I don't want to see those suggestions (or something similar) ever again because I see no evidence of mods/add-ons coming to console Minecraft. I believe that there will NEVER be mods/add-ons in console Minecraft due to copyrights and related issues, and if I try to mod console Minecraft, I'll be banned (possibly permanently), so that's why I never try to mod console Minecraft. Share this to everyone on this site so the users won't try to ask for mods/add-ons for console Minecraft.

The people that asks are likely new to minecraft and xbox 360 and to this website. and some people don't read the terms and service for xbox live and for this cite.
Game mods are NOT illegal. Modifying the console itself is the offense.
Allowing user created DLC like Skyrim (as mentioned partly in the above post) pretty much shows that. There is absolutely nothing that would prevent Mojang/4J/etc from creating such a system for consoles (probably only for the newer gen, not 360 sadly).
So when people ask for mods, I would wager the VAST majority are asking for game modifications in the for of DLC, not hacking their consoles for whatever reason. Big difference.
On that note, the suggestion section should be removed, since we arent supposed to suggest PC features, yet thats what the updates consist of.
When new gen gets the Better Together update there will be mod support. Its limited at the moment, allowing modification of only certain aspects of the game, but its a start.

I see no evidence of mod support being add to Better Together Update. Where did you get that idea from?

From the devs....

The marketplace will offer 'addons' (mods) and we will be able to modify .json files ourselves, at least thats what it looks like at the moment.
Thanks to killerbeenl83 for the info.
Edit: mod support won't be 'added' it will be included as it is already a feature of bedrock engine
This is worth checking out too.
