Is there a certain distance that a front door of a house must be from another front door? In the screenshot that I have attached, are these houses too close, face to face? Do I need 3 blocks between each of these front doors? In other words, does this row need to be one block wider?
2 spaces seems fine. I also tried one space but the villagers won't go in. They stand in front of the doors but can't seem to decide which one to enter.

I'm having a lot of trouble with villagers getting in doors. Many times they will stand outside a door, open or closed, as if they have no idea how to go inside. This has led to a lot of zombified villagers at night. Villager behavior has been screwy for me since the last major TU
