I was wondering if anyone could tell me what happened to my xbox 360 minecraft. I had one of the most recent versions of minecraft installed, the one with dark oak wood, and I was in the middle of building a world. A day or two later I went on and maybe my brother was updating a bunch of games or something but minecraft reverted back to before there was a hunger bar in the game. It had the original texture pack with the old gravel and stuff. But the thing is it saved my world still and even on the little screenshot of the world you can see my dark oak house. Idk how it happened but does anyone know what I can do.
From the dashboard go to system and look for the update file on the hard drive. It should be like 1.3mb I think. I can't remember offhand what the name of the file is but its pretty easy to identify. If it is missing or smaller for some reason you do not have the right file.
When you sign into xbox live and launch the game it doesn't tell you an update is available? Btw that should have been 1.3gb, not 1.3mb. If you are not prompted to update then I would go to 'Options' from the main game menu and 'Reinstall Content'. This should delete and reinstall all skin and mashup packs, and any minigames that you have purchased, and most importantly the update file. It will not delete any of your worlds.

This happens when an update is interrupted.
From the main menu go to Help & Options, then Reinstall Content. It'll update and you'll be good.
Did you unplug the storage device it was on
Did you reinstall content from the minecraft game menu? If you got the skin packs and mashup worlds then you should have the latest update too.
I haven't downloaded it yet, but tu63 is really buggy from what I've read. This may be the problem too.
