I was thinking rather than using the bookshelves for enchanting and decor, i thought that it would be a good idea to actually put books inside of the book shelves, but blocking out any other object, you could put in books and enchanted books, and with the enchanted books inside of them you could control which enchantments you would like on your items. Im not saying that it should be put in, but i think it is a good idea
