When I capture a zombie villager, I give him the potion and apple. When he is cured, a mob of zombies spawn out of nowhere and start going for the villager. After I killed that mob, I went to a village and their were zombies everywhere. There were also a lot of zombies in my house. Why is this happening?
You have experienced a zombie seige. They get to ignore some of the normal spawn restrictions, such as distance from the player and light levels, and can spawn inside blocks that normally stop spawns like slabs. They only happen when your village population reaches a certain point, 20 iirc. So you need to move some of your villagers out of the village and keep the population below 20, or the zombies will do it for you
