So I am a mapmaker, and I have been making a Minecraft Map for about 8 months, and after the recent updates, I have been having horrible problems. Apparently, the nametags don't allow you to add spaces. I was trying to rename an Iron Golem NPC, and I couldn't because of this issue. I had to call him a one letter name, rather than "Rusted Knight Gorum" Which is what I wanted to call him.
I then tried to rename spawn eggs, however that didn't work either. I still couldn't add spaces.
Please fix this terrible glitch or update. It is terrible, and it slowed down my progress drastically.
Have you checked to see if this issue is on the Mojang Bug Tracker website? You have a much better chance of getting the issue fixed if you either put in the bug there, or if someone has already put the bug in, vote it up and leave comments.
In the meantime, you could always try using the underscore character in the name such as "Rusted_Knight_Gorum" It's not the best solution, but at least you would get a more meaningful name applied to the iron golem.
