As topic states, currently it seems that these are indestructible and not able to be mined nor created. My suggestion would simply allow one to moves the end portal from its stronghold location to a location where the player wants it to be.
Players may wish to move these for a variety of reasons such as easy entering instead of trucking across a map or to place them in a decorated room that some do for Nether Portals. I personally like the latter, making elaborate rooms for the nether, would be nice to do the same for the end without having to go halfway across the map to do so
I am 50% in agreeance with you lol However I am happy at the moment that they are unable to be destroyed. After TU 32 I had a really hard time finding mine in three different seeds, they were not were the eye of ender said they were and it was in a weird location. I TNTed the area to find it. But it would be cool to make an end room.
