I created a seed from bar codes, played a bit and jotted down coordinates on how to get to the library in strong hold. I created a new seed with the same seed number, jotted down where the wells were as I wanted to build villages at those locations. I went to go into the strong hold, yet the library did not appear where it was.....kinda.
The once full library was now cut in half by stone wall, the entrance was covered by stone.
im having same issue too while i was searching for a mob spawner in my world coords nothing is there but on somebodies world seed coords for the mob spawner they have it.[this is for the tu33 update] kinda had different coordinations but the same world seed.
hmm. the wiki says this about generated structures(everything except the terrain basically).
When structures are generated, they can spill over into neighbouring chunks that have been previously generated. Thus, a tree at the edge of the generated world (and probably only visible using external tools) may be overwritten by a lake before you reach it. It is also theoretically possible for two worlds generated with the same seed, from the same version of Minecraft, to differ slightly depending on the players' travel routes, because the order in which chunks are generated may determine which of two conflicting structures will overwrite or suppress the other.
I'm still running TU31 specifically to keep that "bug" in the game. The changelog for 32 claims to have fixed the issue for seeds "generating slightly differently".
I like the idea of re-generating a seed to see is the new one will spawn a flower forest or mega-taiga where there previously wasn't one.

I was disappointed when I uploaded my BioShock Rapture world to the One so that my other friends who didn't have 360 anymore could continue work on Berlin and Moscow. However, I noticed that the world was no longer an ocean filled with islands based on the image he had forwarded me. Mind you for the longest time, it *would've* made an amazing Survival Islands map. Sad face. I guess I'll have to make it work to my purposes.

I thought this issue was fixed?
Perpetually negative
As a reference, I created another new seed with the same number [4019800177] and the library was in its entirety.....HOWEVER.....
The area where I start my dig had a few trees missing. Not sure if that part is normal or not

Slytherin is greener than Ravenclaw.
