The game should update automagically I believe. However you can check a history of it's updates, and the current update here. Currently Xbox 360 is updated to TU21.
All updates are also free after you've bought the game!
The console edition is at TU31 currently (DrWeegee mistyped there). If you're on an Xbox that is connected to the internet and signed in with a Live enabled profile (even the free one), the game should inform you that an update is available and update automatically if you "accept" the update. I'm not clear as to how you're on TU2... the disk version was issued with TU9 and the downloaded version should update right along with the download of the game itself. That is, when you download the game from the Live marketplace, the game should download along with a Title Update file (and that file would be the current TU31 file). Each previous update is deleted and replaced when a new update is downloaded, so you don't have a "collection" of files on your hard drive for each individual update.
If you have ocean monuments or savannahs or mesas generating, you are on the most current console edition update.
how can you be on TU2, we arnt in 2012, were in 2016 NOW, you should be on TU31, if you have stuff like savana biomes and roofed- forest biomes, then you are on the most current update on minecraft X360.
